mantra in the ear

i was wondering in the scene where Dev"s father puts the tilak on his forhead suddenly and dies immediately thereafter,there was any mantra whispered in his ear by his father.can anyone tell me which episode it appears so that i can revisit it and convince myself that it is not aaaaaan after thought by the creatives.
it appears everything including the mantra came to Dev in a trance with the help of Kanha and his memory would return only after being kocked down by someone in a fight.

you're right. the mantra was not passed on by Dev's father to him.

i don't remember the episode number but i remember there was no passing on of the mantra.
