This other key scene today!

When Dutta came out of the kitchen, looking for Naku, he calls out her name, and Jagpat's words come to his mind...roughly put, how only when someone is gone do we understand their worth.

I was shocked more by this than Naku's confession at the end. And it is this type of retelling, thinking that will take place in Dutta's mind, as he becomes more cognizant of Jagpat's words. It is this which will lead him to exhibit his love...even after a separation.

Any thoughts on this?

Yes I was amazed as to how quickly Jagtap's words are being reflected in Dutta's mind. All Dutta did was step out on the verandah calling Nakku and not seeing her immediately made him think about Jagtap's wise words. Itni jaldi dada ki baathon ka asar hoga humne socha nahin tha. Wah Jagtap maan gai aapko 👏👏👏

He was the one who asked her to leave and kept reminding her that their ways are separate once they are out of the woods.😔 Does he love her enough to swallow his pride and ask her to stay? At this point I don't think so. He has gone too far in this betrayal-anger-punishment circle and has gotten so entangled it'll be a while for him to sort it all out. And for that to even begin a seperation would be a catalyst.

Agree - plus a big part of me says the last part was a dream. If not they've some serious explaining to do in regard to how Jagtap disappeared and Dutta appeared in the span of a quick FB. The brief and sudden Dutta's moment is the key here. I am thinking if Naku's scene is indeed reality and not dream then it's all being set up for down the road when Dutta has an extended tanhayee moment back in his comfy mansion room remembering his JMM with Naku.

By the time he is out of jungle he will be completely used to Nakku's presence ... but not as a friend ... as a husband. The whole point that dada is trying to explain so far.

Nelly, I agree, I think he will be used to Nakku's presence. But I don't think they are husband and wife. Husbands and wives talk, communicate, are open they spend time together of free will. They are technically married, Nakue loves him, Dutta is falling in love with her although they have not really even shown that much. We still have a long way to go.
