Why do u think we like these girls?

Hey dears,

i would love to hear from u as to why do most of us(if not all ) like girls like khanak and geet.(I am not comparing them but giving an example of the common type of everyday/realistic characters they are).

For me I like/love them because.

1.These girls are from rural middle class backgrounds unlike the hifi backgrounds.They are much more easy to relate to.,because we see these girls every where.

2.girls are innocent victims of circumstances like khanak was widowed so soon after wedding for no fault of hers(rather destiny )and geet too of an unfortunate marriage.

3.Both are innocent,cute ,simple(dresses as well),but at the same time smart/intelligent.,though they are from villages yet they are confident in handling people.And they really enjoy being themselves when there is a chance(like in rain etc.,)They do not over react to troubles.

4.Last but not the least they do not always sit and cry in a corner lamenting their fate,but do their best by fighting against all odds.,not giving up hope.They do cry once a while but then everyone does.Both are fighting in their own ways one by being in marriage and other out of it.

Again this post does not imply that either of them is better than the other.it is not a comparison.But I am thoroughly interesting in knowing why we like/love them.

Haven't seen Geet so no idea. I like the fact that Khanak is not always crying and acts her age- she is 19?- fighting with Shantanu etc.... seems more real.

I like them because they don't sit in the corner and cry about their fate.....They do get hurt and cry a liittle, but then they become stronger and face their problems.....They are also behave as people in the real world would😊......

Definitely the last point! Yes, they both cry at times..but they learn from it too. Crying doesn't solve anything..and they stand up for what they believe in.

Another thing..they're very simple. Like their clothes and lifestyles. Especially the clothes! They don't wear like fancy, full on dressy clothes at home.

Shriya you said it all but ...its mostly them moving on with all the troubles theys or difficulty they have...finding solutions etc..and not just crying 24/7....it shows their inner strenght...how strong they are really to face anything life throws their way...

I watch both Geet and RBO....

I love both Geet and Kanak because they r no longer crying in a corner thinking of their 'halaths' and "majbooris" which is even more commendable since they have gone through more tragedies than some love failures !!

They r simple and more realistic... no OTT ideas or pranks or melodrama!!!

Both serials are going through a light hearted period, and both girls have a sweet sense of humour!! They light up the screen!! 😊

awesome post shriya. i like both ladies as they in a way show wat todays gals r capable n reallly are ..... both these ladies r fresh air in this soap world where ladies r shown as crying non stop n cursing their fate , taking crap n not doing anything to change their world.......

yes every one r vurnerable n yet strong ........ which these two ladies r .......

both show realities in life . like life doesnt stop when something horrible happens to u , instead one learns to move along in life n do things which makes dfifference in their life n others too..................

both r simple , innocent , not cunning unlike others ladies who seems to have lots of cunninness n alll out of bluemoon...

Wat i reallly love about tthem are both got great self respect n self dignity about them which makes them face world with courage even if they feel lonely n weak inside ...... they dont cry in front of others n look for sympathy ......

my liking for khanak is more than geet as i think wt ever geetis its caz of Maan ...........(plz not saying geet s weak ) she is strong ................

both simple clothes , both r naive with worlds games which make them lovable .......

these days iam just watching these 2 shows apart my weekend stuff .....nothing on weekdays r worth watching

thanx a lot for replying.i am so glad all of us think alike so much.

I never used to post in any forums earlier because all they would talk is chemistry.,chemistry how romantic I love them .blah blah stuff.I just used to see a few forums if there is something new to look after and carry on with my work.

, And never even once I had come across the character analysis of the women in the show(.I mean I have not read it).

.Moreover the women in theearlier starone shows(mostly) were more or less romantic interests with some as usual cuteness stuff, with some sweetnessi.,intimate scenes with the male leads etc. In the midst of doing some jobs. ,And they become useless after that.

Infact i never used to watch star one except DMG(ksg is my fav).,

I never used to post in the forums because they used to be so messy that u can never make out head or tail.And the same message would be under ten different heads by ten different people.horrible.By writing this I am not offending or crticising anyone.I am writing my view only.

I am very glad to be posting here where there are healthy discussions of characters,Really I mean it.

Yeah Jaya u have a valid point.

Even I like khanak much more than geet.,because she has been steady throughout in her outlook.And she has had no support litersally from any one.

And as u have said mann has had a big hand for geet.

And khanak/geet are naive and not cunning makes their characters much more interesting/lovable..

personally I would like to watch these type of shows.

As u said all those rhona.,dhonas and chic out of the world costumes ., are more than enough.have had enough of them.

Thanx for all ur views.It made the week end interesting.So khanak u have our support no matter shaan supports u later or not.And geet u are not far behind.

Love u girls u reflect a new generation of change.
