Hmmm... so what do you look for in a life partner? What is that one thing that is always number 1 on your list?.....Comfort. And from comfort comes compatibility. From compatibility comes stability and from stability comes a confidence in each-other. And when you achieve all this , you can be your self with your spouse. This is what we saw in SR today. Riddz knew that something was bothering Sid , so she forced him to speak to her by slamming the locker shut. She told him what was in his heart - her surprise birthday party. Sid was least expecting his wife to be the guessing queen but it was a beautiful shock for him.... its like she understood him even without him having to say anything. And as they look at each-other having an unsaid conversation , you realize that how each one of us craves for somebody who will know how we are in the inside without us even saying anything. Sometimes when you are asked over and over 'what happened' , you wish they knew without your saying anything. Siddhanth and Riddhima are those people in each-other's lives. They say the best when they say nothing at all to each-other. So, when Riddz warms his heart a little, all of Sid's frustration and anger comes tumbling out.... there is so much that i wanted to do for you on your birthday ....but everybody let me down... they all hate me ... everything is going wrong and it is such a loser feeling. Sid could vent himself out on Riddz because she is his own , he doesnt have to worry what she will think or say ... he knows that she is his other half and she understands both his vices and virtues.... and yes, he is right...
Seeing Sid feel so low and touched that her birthday means so much to him, Riddhima melts ...alright ,she is permanently melted with Sid .. haha...but she feels instantly protective and you can see that throughout his venting in her expressions... Riddhima , like a loving and doting wife , bends down and putting her comforting and reassuring hands on Sid's arms and tells him that she doesn't care who attends her birthday party and who doesn't.... he is with her and all that matters. A soft smile spreads over Sid's face and seeing him smile finally , she smiles.
Riddz told Sid a very simple regular sentence .... but in that simple reassurance lay her Sid-centric universe - her innocent and soulful devotion to her husband whom she has come to love. The simplicity and this everyday comfort , confidence and reassurance of being two parts of a one whole , of being life partners by love and faith , SR paint a picture of what we all look for in marriage - Regular 24 hours everyday kissed with the love and warmth of your other half whom you can go back home to snuggle up like a baby.

How can a man escape with his dentures and jawline stay intact after he has hurt a woman and wounded her dignity and feminine pride?..... aisa main nahiin kehti... aisa Dr.Shilpa Malhotra ka gyaan hai and that gyaan was delivered to Dr.Armaan Malik by her through a downmarket rowdy channel......Shilpa was hurt by Armaan yesterday and no, she did not forget what Armaan did to her. I don't think she really foresaw the repercussions of what she was doing. Or what it really meant getting Armaan into that fight. She was just plain angry at that time and it showed in the acidic sentences that she threw in an equally angry Armaan's face .... what fun it is pushing and misbehaving with a woman , isn't it? Now, go and misbehave with that street rogue..... and this is where you are once again reminded that how this girl gets under Armaan's skin. Armaan didn't have to bother about fighting that mule.... he doesn't care , he didn't have to give explanations to Shilpa.... but she got to him... she succeeded in provoking him and Armaan gave in to the ego-attack of the woman he apparently doesn't care about .... he went ahead to fight....
What followed is remarkable in many ways. Shilpa amazed at the revelation of Armaan's past as a street fighter , Shilpa watching Armaan fight and her snobbish disdain slowly turning to worry and from worry to utter panic, Armaan flitting between past and reality and remarkably so , when Armaan was getting beaten up , the Riddhima in his imagination was a still picture , not reacting but in real Shilpa was reacting .... towards the end of the episode she behaved like Riddhima had behaved in the past. She melted, panicked, she screamed at Rocky to stop hitting Armaan who in turn wanted to get hit over and over so that his pain would stop. And on Monday , forgetting that she is shielding her enemy , she will intervene to save Armaan......
Shilpa is replacing all images of Riddhima as we are seeing everyday and someday Armaan will be shocked to know that long after Riddhima had walked out , Shilpa's footsteps into his life and eventually his heart had begun to echo....
P.S- If you have nothing nice to say , spare me the agony and yourself the humiliation.
