Hey Guys.. I wrote this One shot for Valentines on SanRaj.. Thought i could post it here for TaSha.. Do read and comment please.. =) 😳
Naku woke up and looked around the room.. the first rays of the morning were beginning to appear and she knew it was the sign for her to get her chores down..
She had a quick shower and slipped into her favourite joggers and went down in the mandir that was situated at the front of the house..
She did her pooja and prayed to Mata Tulsi as she had done everyday, she walked in a put the kettle on for tea and whilst the water boiled, she took out the crockery from the dishwasher, placing them away in their kitchen drawers, she vaccumed and put the laundry in the washing machine and put the washed ones out to dry..
She made tea and toast for her and DM.. she ate hers and placed Dutta's upon a tray with a single red rose as she always did..
Naku carried the tray up and placed it upon the table next to the bed.. She attempted to awake him but he was fussy as a teenager..
Naku: Get up DM... come on.. you have to go to work..
Dutta:Five more minutes Babe!!
Naku: Like every morning.. We'll be late again..
Dutta: I won't just five more minutes..
Naku: When i tell you to go to sleep you don't listen, instead you carry on talking..
Dutta: You are such a nag!! You are supposed to be my wife but every morning you act like my mom!!
Naku:That's because your such a big baby..
Naku frustrated threw her cushion at his face and sat on the rocking chair that Dutta insisted on having...
Dutta awoke and walked over to Naku.. He knelt down beside her and began to make jokes but she wasn't in the mood..
Dutta: Why did the chicken cross the road??
Silence....
Dutta:Because he wanted to cross the road..
Hahaha.. Dutta laughed at his own pathetic, silly joke..
Dutta:I'll see how long you don't talk to me..
Naku ignored him and picked up the newspaper.. which had a post it note attached saying sorry..
She looked at Dutta angrily but with a small smile forming...
Naku: So you think you are smart huh??
Dutta: Its habit jaaneman.. I do it everyday and everyay we argue then you pick up the paper and find the note attached..
Dutta gets up and goes to get ready for work.. Naku takes out her clothes aswell as Dutta's..
She pulls out a beautiful red kurta for Dutta and a purple sari for herself... Combing her hair, she sees Dutta winking naughtily at her with his towel around his waist...
She shakes her head and Dutta annoyed gets ready and walks over to the dresser...
He picks up a small little box and opens it.. He looks at Naku who is smiling at him.. He fills her maang..
Dutta: This too is a habit now.. but i wouldn't want it any other way..
Naku places a kiss on Dutta's cheek..
Both lost in each other's eyes, don't move..
Tring Tring!!! The alarm clock buzzes..
Naku:We are sooo late..
Dutta: Oops.. Not again..
Naku: You can stare at me when we get to the office!!
Dutta smiles at her and picked up the car keys ready to start his beautiful day with his beautiful wife..
Dutta and Naku reach the office.. There employees are working hard and the Manager looking after the company greets them..
Manager:Good Morning Sir. Good Morning Madam..
Dutta:Hello, and a very Good-Morning to you too..
Manager looking slightly confused raised his eyebrows and Naku motioning as to what is wrong with Dutta today??
Naku signs loose screw.. and the Manager laughs with Naku whilst Dutta looks confused
Naku walks into the cabin and sits on the large leather chair that is placed behind a small glass table opposite another table and chair.. She looks at the computer screen and reads something upon her email which infuriates her..
She picks up the phone and dials through to the receptionist Tanya..
Naku: Tanya!! Send Miss Maya to my office right now...
Tanya scared hangs up and sends a young lady to the cabin..
A young, aged around 25 appears at the doorway.. She is dressed in a black salwaar kameez and knocks the door scared pushing her specs onto her nose as they are falling..
Maya:Ma'am.. Did you call for me??
Naku: Yes.. Come in..
She tells Maya to take a seat and looks at her with peircing eyes..
Naku: So Maya, how are you??
Trembling and not knowing the reason behind her being called to the office she answers sheepishly.. 'Im good Ma'am..'
Naku: Very good!! I want you to do a job for me!!
Naku leans back in her chair and smiles softly at Maya.. Maya smiles back nervously..
Maya: What do I have to do??
Naku explains to Maya that she wants to arrange a special weekend away and as Maya had worked in the holiday sector she needed her help but it had to be kept a secret from Dutta..
Maya agreed and tells Naku that she will work on something and get back to her asap.. What Naku didn't know is Dutta and Maya had already planned something for Naku, a very big surprise awaited her..
Naku pleased with herself looks over at the empty desk infront confused as to why Dutta still hasn't come to the cabin..
She sends a quick text message on Dutta's mobile..
Where r u??..
Dutta who is busy with some employees reads the text and gets angry... The employees look at him and he leaves to join Santu..
Dutta:Why did you text??
Naku:I didn't know where you were!! You hadn't been to the cabin all morning..
Dutta: Some of us have work to do...
Naku: And I don't.. Thats what you always say!!
Dutta: Cut the moaning and tell me what you want to eat??
Naku: Im not hungry..
Dutta: How's Pizza Hut sound??
Naku looks at Dutta, confused, angry and frustrated.. She knows Dutta dislikes Pizza or any non indian food and him suggesting it is just to please her..
Naku:I told you.. Im not hungry...
The rest of the day Dutta and Naku sit in silence not speaking to one another.. Dutta tries to distract Naku but she doesn't give in..
He throws paper balls and airoplanes at her but she just gets more annoyed.. Without saying anything he gets up and heads out of the office...
Some hours later he sends Naku a text message..
Im out..Some important work has come up.. Go home and don't wait up for me..I'll be late..xx
More annoyed she puts the phone down and carries on working..
After a long tiring day Naku arrived home...she was still angry that Dutta had gone out without telling her and convinced herself that she would punish Dutta..
She walked into the kitchen and found a note on the fridge reading...
My beautiful wife Nakusha..

Highly confused as two what was happening she looked around and didn't understand what the note meant or what Dutta had planned.. She went back into the sitting room and walked into the patio area.. Next to the keys she found a little trinket box and open it..

More confused then before she called around the house for Dutta!! Thinking he must be upto a trick of his..
She reached the staircase and found red heart shapes cut out on each step leading up stairs.. Excited she ran up and came to a red ribbon tied across the banister..
Next to the banister on a small drawer she found a pair of scissors and a note which again had a small message reading:
Hey Sweety..
You finally reached the top..
You took ages!!
Anyway follow the hearts and see where they go..
Amazed at Dutta's tricks and secretly happy she followed the hearts which lead her straight to the master bedroom.. Scared she opened the door..
Naku slowly opens the door and finds an empty room.. She feels disappointed and thinks to herself that she was expecting a surprise.. She falls on the bed, tears dropping onto her cheeks.. She then notices a parcel against the pillow with a small note.. She opens the envelope and reads..
So you made too our room.. I know your crying so wipe the tears..
The tissue is in the envelope
Priyaa Nakuuuu..
Open the parcel and go to the dressing table mirror, your next instructions will be there..
She opened the parcel and found a beautiful red lengha inside.. Naku started crying again surprised at Dutta's beautiful gift.. As instructed she put the lengha on and she looked absolutely amazing.. She went to the dressing and looked at the mirror.. On it Dutta had written I love you.. You look very beautiful.. may my nazaar not catch you..She blushed.. She saw the final note on the drawer reading:
I've waiting for ages..Its really cold up here.. Come lets dance under the moonlight..
Meet me on the terrace..
Running up the stairs she reached the terrace and saw Dutta on his knees with a huge board reading Im Sorry..
She couldn't believe what prepartions Dutta had done for her.. He held his ears motioning sorry.. Naku slowly walked towards him..
Naku looked at Dutta lovingly just then a shower of red rose petals fell gently upon her... She looked as Dutta was pulling a basket of flowers over her.. He walked over to her and kissed her soft cheeks.. Neither spoke, each glaring into each others eyes.. Dutta pulled out a blindfold and Naku was about to speak but he placed his finger upon her lip..
He placed the blindfold and lead her to a cushioned picinic area that he had set out.. Still seated with the blindfold..Dutta held Naku's hand.. He opened her blindfold and looked into her beautiful big eyes and noticed that she was crying..
Dutta looked at Naku asking her what is wrong.. She shook her head.. He kissed her forehead and look at the moon..
Naku: You know, the moon looks beautiful today...
Dutta looking at Naku 'It sure does.. And i can't believe im soo lucky to touch it'
Naku: How??
Dutta:Look into my eyes and you will see the moon..
Naku: Someone should learn how to flatter from you..
Dutta: I asked you something..
Naku:What??
Dutta: Dance with me under the moonlight..
Dutta took to his feet and looked at Naku, extending his hand and pressed play on the CD.. Dutta began to sing along..

Just as Dutta stopped singing rain droplets began to fall heavily upon them.. Naku burst into laughter..
Naku: Saab look.. Its raining because of your singing Lets go in before we get drenched..
She began to rush towards the terrace stairs and DM grabbed her arm passionately..
Dutta:Not today..
Naku:Its raining...
Dutta pulls Naku close glaring deeply into her eyes .. He kisses the raindrops on her cheeks down to her neck.. Electricity buzzing through both of them..
Dutta slowly takes Naku down and kisses her gently on her lips.. Tasting the saltiness of the rain.. He slowly opens the dori on her blouse.. Shivering, Naku clinches onto Dutta close.. He looks at her and smiles.. She smiles back feeling the warmth of his breath beginning to overwhelm all her senses...
