Unrealistic expectations
More news arrives of actors striving for authenticity. Murli Sharma, who plays Hyderabad don Malleshwar Ramalingaya on Laagi Tujhse Lagan, kicked up a fuss on the sets of the show. He found that he was supposed to enact a scene where the don will be shown reading a Hindi newspaper. This struck Murli as being unrealistic, because he reasoned that the don, being a Hyderabad native, will be reading a Telugu newspaper. So that sent the whole unit into a tizzy as they rushed about trying to find a suitable Telugu daily. But, Mr Sharma, if we extend that logic, you should also be delivering your dialogues in Telugu, no? With Hindi subtitles, of course.

Not necessary dear .. many in Hyderabad/andhra pradesh do speak Hindi ... even tho they may not be able to read it ...

it is commendable that Murli sharma speaks in that particular modulation you generally hear people from that region speak in
