Zee TV has decided to bring back the 12 finalists who were voted out of the 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005' in a new show following the mega finals. Ashish Kaul, senior Vice President of Zee Network says, "We have received requests to invite back the contestants who were ousted out by the public voting system. We owe this to our viewers who have made the show the best in its genre. We will be making an in-show announcement soon."
In March 2006, music lovers will once again savour the voices of Hemchandra, Himani, Nihira and other finalists. Here there will be no pressure of competition. The decision to prolong the 'Challenge' flavour was taken in the early hours after the shooting for the mega finals commenced this week. The gurus of the different gharanas and their overthrown shishyas feel vindicated by this move.

- Himani sang for Sushmita Sen in 'Chingari.' Hemchandra will sing for Subhash Ghai's films and Aadesh Srivastav's 'Alag'. He has also sung for Abhishek Bachchan's forthcoming film. Vineet has sung for Zayed Khan in 'Rocky.' Nihira Joshi sang 'Dhadak dhadak' ('Bunty Aur Bubly') with Sunidhi Chauhan
