Even the number of questions asked by Big B is likely to be reduced to twelve from the fifteen, which was norm for the last three seasons. Sources say that Amitabh Bachchan, who is hosting the game show in this fourth season, will also come up with some innovation in his presentation style to make it more user friendly and trendy at the same time.
The first answering interval will be between seven seconds to thirty seconds and afterwards time will be up for the question. Now, there will be options for life lines, external helps and all that. During the first two seasons of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', Amitabh Bachchan had made the terms 'Computerji', 'Lock kiya Jaye', etc, very popular with the audiences.
His larger than life image in the public mind had created such a huge aura around KBC that it gave a big boost to TRP ratings of Star Plus channel. The same TRP boosting is being expected from Sony channel which has bought the rights of the game show for this season.

Big B has always been lucky for television channels as far as boosting of their TRP ratings is concerned. For example, when he hosted the last season of 'Bigg Boss' on Colors channel, it too had recorded a boost in TRP ratings.
And the show was being watched by more than any other programme in that slot.
But Shah Rukh Khan was not that lucky with 'KBC' or even 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain' on Star Plus channel. Both of these shows were launched with much fanfare, but could never match the success of Big B's shows.
However, Salman Khan's 'Dus Ka Dum' did show some relief for the hosting channel in terms of TRP ratings.
