Bang on Ria. This is exactly what I wanted to say.

If we consider only the technical part then Sreeram is by far the best. No one comes close to him. But his voice his more of conventional type. Same is the case with Rakesh too. Gone are the days of Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya etc. Today's youth wants a freshness in voice. A unique voice quality. That is why singers like Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali, Amit Trivedi, Rekha Bhardwaj, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, Suraj Jagan, Vijay Prakash, Rashid Khan, Salim Merchant, Mika have surfaced now. And this is why Pakistani singers like Atif Aslam and Shafqat Ali Khan are getting more popular now in India. Although we still have conventional voices in Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, KK, Shreya lending their voices but the trend has changed now.

Lot has been talked about Bhoomi's voice also. Bhoomi has a new voice and I have seen the judges mentioning this point again and again. Her power and throw of voice is amazing. Yes no doubt her sur is quite weak but this can be amended with some hard work.

The same is the case with Shivam. His voice may sound a bit rough but these type of voices are the talk of the town now.

Saying all this all three are my favorite and I don't mind any one of these winning the Indian Idol this time.

Tough choice between Shivam and Sreeram. Sreeram has more maturity and versatality whereas Shivam has a fresh and different voice.
I will be happy if either of these two wins.
Rakesh is good also but his singing has never been able to touch my heart.

Sreeram is far more better voice compared to all.

Rakesh is a really good singer, no doubt, but for some reason I wish his voice had more throw.. His singing somehow ends up boring me or making me want to sleep..

Hi all am new here! I also agree with most of u. I love sree and shiv but Rajesh , yes he sings better than the rest but somehow I never listen to hs song more than once whereas I just love listening to sree and shiv songs agin and agin! That is the deciding factor for me! Lov to c these 2 battle it out for the title!! Either way I ll b happy and it ll b a treat!!
