u cnt do this to me------krishna's voice had started to tremble....
pratigya tried to stay calm.. she had taken this decision after thnking for so many days... that she cud no more drag this relationship wich was nt going to take them anywhere.....
'krishna', she held onto his shoulders and made him sit down almost forcibly on the sofa... he obeyed...although his face had become pale and sweaty..... he quickly took her hands in his and pressed them against his chest------u r joking....u...u r joking ryt? u dnt want to break off.... his voice choked due to tears.....
pratigya took a deep breath...she had to be strong......
she cleared her throat and said------krishna...plzz listen to me...we r NT meant for each other.... nothing is common between us..... we have different tastes,different outlooks, u know it well dnt u? u know how much we quarrel,how much we argue on simple thngs.... after all that do u still thnk that we cn be together?
krishna's voice grew impatient------bt that doesnt mean....that doesnt mean....u...u will LEAVE ME?? how cn u evn utter such a thng pratigya...u know...u know i just cnt imagine myself without u......
pratigya closed her eyes...she dint want to fall weak agen.....always wen she had taken this decision to move forward in her life,he had been clinging onto her and had pulled her back..... this time...it wud nt work anymore..she was firm and strong...... she had to move out of this dark phase of her life......
krishna was a gud guy,well-educated,intelligent,gudluking,etc.etc. bt pratigya did nt find PEACE with him... they had been living together for some six mnths now.... and she had been regretting her decision evr since the time she moved into his apartment..... wen she had met him for the frst time...he was somethng else... he was polite,charming and a really impressive gentleman of whum evry grl wud want to dream abt.... bt the real krishna was sooo different..... he was egoistic, stubborn,strict,possessive and obsessive.....
pratigya liked him bt he was mad abt her..... he did nt let her talk to any other guy...he wud become furious if she evr did....and start breaking thngs at home...... it terrified her out of her wits..... bt as soon as she became scared and started shedding tears,he wud calm down instantly as if like magic and tried to console her...... promising her that he wud nvr repeat such thngs...bt each and evrytime he broke his promise..... and went over doing the same thngs.....
now,it was high time......pratigya had thought abt it vry carefully and had taken this decision.. she knew that if she left him,maybe he wud change...for the better....just maybe....... if at all he loved her...he wud surely want her back...and she wud NT return until and unless its proved that krishna had changed....
she wasnt any weak,timid,traditional grl....she was educated abroad and had a wide sense of judgement... it wasnt that she did nt love him.... bt she cud nt live with such an obsessive guy whu did nt evn trust the person he claim to love....
krishna tugged at her hands like a child.... she felt sorry for him......
krishna------plzzzz pratigya..tell me u r joking......u will nt leave me.......
pratigya slowly released her hands frm his grip and said in a calm voice------am sry......bt...i just have to.....
he got up instantly and without a single wrd, threw his arms around her,hugging her tightly.... her whole body stiffened at his touch......
he whispered into her ears------ lets see how cn u leave ME.....hw cn u disrespect my love.......!!!!
weakened by her own feelings...she stayed still in his arms for some time...unable to thnk..unable to move...bt then her conscience hit her...-----pratigya..u have to do it....for ur sake...for HIS sake.....
she pushed him away....... krishna was stunned......
pratigya-----u know wat.....ur kitten cries arent going to keep me anymore....I'M LEAVING...... GOODBYE...... she took her bags and walked out of the main door....slamming it hard behind her........ while krishna stood there,shocked and bewildered.........
