yesterday's episode gave me a thought... DMG has come a full circle, and this i am saying, in a not a not so positive way...

earlier, they would focus on the story... the fact that perhaps Ridddhima was sad, and Armaan would feel guilty about it, he would go apologise, and Riddhima would react accordingly and it would take the story forward... after all thats what made AR popular and people started appreciating KASH... so much so that... now....

scenes, are not written for AR .... but they are written for KASH...

why? same scene, yesterdays treatment...

Armaan pisses of the lady, she goes to the fire escape and is sad... what is concentrated now on.. is no longer the emotion that she is sad, but her flying hair, the angle in which is she sitting, and a few other angle shots, all of which very picturesquely shot no doubt... but, somehow distract the viewer and make him wonder... are we admiring her beauty, or are we actually supposed to feel for her... and then, enters Armaan.. again, very smartly, shot...
yesterdays ArSh, though, was a wonderful scene, which had so many memories revisited, two of the favorites, in the fire-escape, sad, senti mood, where everything is just about perfect for things to move ahead... the makers focussed more on how both the leads looked, and somehow seemed to be experimenting with various angles from where the couple would look nice...!! for me atleast, that was the feeling that came into my mind...

Similarly, when they show the Sid n Riddhima scenes, with Sid trying to cook in the kitchen, mess up, Riddhima dressing up in front of the mirror, remembering all those moments with Sid, i was like, does this woman ever do anything else at all? the same look, the same expressions... for Sid, it is the cuteless they wanna show... and Riddhima, her stuck upness... all of which is sugar coated with loads of sugar coated close ups... and intimate moments...

and thats when, it struck me... now, they dont write scene any longer for the story, they write now to cater to the popularity of the actors and the makers are now just busy showcasing the beauty between the couple!!!

i do not know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...

cos i for one, dont watch a show, just because it has good looking people, once it is established they are great lookers, i obviously want more! and that more, for now is missing on DMG...

i sincerely hope they stop throwing in scenes on our face just for the heck of it....

I think they have smartly realized that a story really is not needed anymore to engage people. They can work their moves along lose sketched plots, and filler scenes to make up their weekly quota. That is what always happens. Somehow they even make the viewers think more of how a star/character (does it make a difference?) appears or gazes and touches, and so by the end of it, we even forget the purpose of the already vague/hazy scene.

Amazing post yaar.Good to know that there are some people in the forum who actually gives a damn about the storyline rather than gushing about their fav couple.I am a Jeran fan myself but still I am not satisfied with seeing them on screen in some ill-written,repititive scenes.I feel like their relationship is lacking the depth, they are husband and wife after all.I would rather see them talking to each other about their bitter sweet childhood memories or even about other people in their lives.Sid's relationship with his dad is not quite ok so whats the reason behind it?Doesnot riddhima feel the need of telling her husband that she is adopted?I would like to see the scenes with substance rather the same eye-locking and kissing scenes. Its really boring and irritating too.😔U are totally right,I think they are trying to show how beautiful the actors are rather than showing the emotions of characters. When will the makers of the show understand that we are not intersted in seeing beutiful people from various angels,We can easily do that anytime of the day by just looking at the mirror😆.We want to see the actual story which makes some sense and is entertaining.

i seriously dont understand why they dont want to do it though! i mean, they have the actors, and there is a great scope to tie up loose ends, like the ones you pointed out for that matter... had they shown, why Riddhima is so insecure about relationships, or why Sid has been tying so hard... in a sensitive way, and not in a nonsensical comedy way, we would have really appreciated it... coming to ArSh, they could have seriously made Armaan a no nonsense man for a while, and they should have forced Shilpa to be that person, that would help him become the person that he was....
well, sense and sensiblity are far from happening... but i still wonder... why!

I feel HOLLOW....simply hollow and empty even reading the updates. SR have come to like a dead-end, ArSh are getting AR scenes and I just wonder what else can they do with 'Dill Mill Gaye'? I know a lot of people have no issues with AR scenes being repeated on the other 2 couples but then does it not bother them that these two won't really have their own love story to talk about?

None of the emotions touch me anymore because I know everything I felt during AR scenes was the most two people could feel for each other and they didn't happen. There is nothing to DMG anymore apart from pleasing the fans of the actors (barring KaJen...lol, they are being royally ignored).
