June 29, 2010 Written Update

Poonam at once gets up as Kabir leaves and tells everyone she knew this would happen. She tells them to think realistically, and consider why a smart, handsome guy like Kabir would ever want to marry a divorcee like Jyoti. Padma tells her it's not true, as Kabir was the one who agreed to the marriage first. Poonam tells her that when it comes to marriage, the minds of men change. Jyoti runs into her room, hurt. (Poonam is reallllyyyy getting on my nerves today...😡)

A song plays as Kabir drives away in his jeep and Jyoti sits distraught in her room. Kabir finally stops and Amit comes to meet him. Amit tells him that he's trying to run away from the truth, and he has to tell Jyoti's family. Kabir tells Amit that his family would never accept a divorcee like Jyoti, especially considering the fact that she also comes from a poor family. He tells Amit that his family would rather have him dead than marry Jyoti. Kabir explains that his family is the reason he left and came here, and he would never want Jyoti to live the rest of her life there.

Meanwhile Jyoti is in her room while the whole family sits around her. Poonam goes on and on about how Kabir was just playing with her. Dadi tries quieting her, but Poonam doesn't stop. (Can no one shut her up??🤢) Sushma tells that she doesn't believe Kabir could do something like this, and there must be a reason. Jyoti agrees with Poonam, and says that she made a mistake by dreaming that someone could love her. (of course, what else would we expect from Jyoti)

There, Amit tells Kabir that he has to tell Jyoti the truth. She has faced enough betrayals in her life, and if she had to face another one, she would really be shattered. Kabir calls his bhabhi. A richly decorated room is shown where a lady picks up. (is it just me or does this room resemble Uday's - only redecorated?😕) Kabir starts beating around the bush, and his bhabhi says that she feels he called to say something important. Kabir tells her he needs advice for his friend. The bhabhi smiles and says ok. Kabir explains that his friend is in love with a divorcee, but doesn't think his family will ever agree to their marriage. He says that his friend also hasn't said anything about his own family to the girl's family. The bhabhi advises him to come clean to both families with the truth, because God is always on the side of love.

Kabir rushes back to Jyoti's house and barges through the door. Deepu gets up at once ready to charge at Kabir, but Padma holds him back. (Padma is on a roll today!👏) Kabir says he needs to talk to Jyoti, and Padma tells him that she's in her room. Kabir goes to Jyoti's room. Sushma sees him and alerts Jyoti. End.

Precap: Jyoti tells Kabir she wanted to become someone's wife, not steal someone's son. She says she will only marry him if his family agrees to the marriage.

Finally Jyoti is thinking with her head. She has problems with her past family and has learned from it. Honestly, I have seen lots of situations where the boy's family did not agree to the marriage and the girl's life becomes a hell. There is no use rushing into a marriage if all parties are not in agreement. Jyoti is better off on her own if Kabir's family does not agree.

kabir has left his family. he lives separately as his terms don't go well with him... then why all this mess!😕 what's the point?

I agree with you Kruthika, Poonam really gets on my nerves with her silly comments🥱...I sometimes put the volume on mute when her comments become unbearable. 😆

Why so much suspense has been shown??????? why kabir did not say this before that no body from his family is going to accept her as she is divorced!!!!!!!!!
secondly why dadi is shouting on poonam always because what ever point she kept was completely perfect.

Just saw the episode. A few things struck me.

On bhabisa, I also found it strange that a princess was walking barefoot, rather than some real ornate footwear. Then the language. Until now, despite all the characters being Mewaris, they spoke something like Urdu, but when Kabir was talking to his bhabisa, he suddenly switched to a Mewari Hindi. This was similar to Poonam's first appearance - when she first met Dadi, she addressed her as Dadisa. So if Jyoti marries into this family, she can undergo a complete vocabulary overhaul? 😆 (However, Kru, the room didn't look like Uday's 😆)
Another thing. Kabir tells Amit that he left his family and came here to be away from them, and w/ Jyoti. But it's the same place. Jyoti lives in Udaipur, and the Sisodia capital is Udaipur, not Chittor. So where exactly does Kabir's family live, if not in Udaipur? And where is this fort that they showed @ the start of the above clip?

And again, after Kabir returned, when Jyoti looked @ him, she looked @ him w/ hatred - the way she used to look @ Brij. 😕 And when she confronts him tomorrow in front of everybody, she just simply orders him to either persuade them, and if he can't, not to turn up again. Kabir dear, you are marrying a champion masochist, if you didn't know that already. Now prepare to love everybody who hates you, b'cos that's what your new vadhu will require 🤢🤣

Another thing - is Sanjay Batra (KK) planning to exit the show? They showed that he was recovering and under observation. If he dies b4 Jyoti marries, then I believe she can't marry for a year. But the way they are showing his health deteriorate, looks like Deepu will be the only guy left in the house. Of course, once Jyoti leaves, there will be just Dadi, Padma and Poonam w/ him.

Incidentally, where is St Brij? Not here for either Jyoti nor Kabir?

P.S. We now have 2 imports from Basera courtesy Kabir - first Amit, and now Asha bhabi. Maybe Kabir's family can be entirely from the Basera cast 😆 And when Jyoti has kids from him, re-use those child actors. 😆

I suppose kabir will talk to his family about Jyoti being divorced but hide the fact that she was pregnant too...so Jyoti will get married to kabir n try to win everyone's hearts n unite kabir wid his family..n this time the bone of contention will be roshni as n when Jyoti finds out about her n kabir's family will be lyk u kept us in the dark!!

n looks lyk Jyoti's also going the typical royal family way..will Jyoti too start getting all decked up n stuff?? I somehow noticed Sneha Wagh looks prettier in her simple look than she did during her marriage to pankaj in all those ornate jewellary!!

^^I think that's a likely way the show is going to turn. Somehow, after Jyoti gets accepted by Kabir's family... the Roshni thing will come out and the family will be delighted at the chance to scream at Jyoti. Hopefully this is the time that Kabir speaks up for her and takes her away from there, in contrast to when Pankaj said nothing as his family spoke against Jyoti.

If Jyothi's baby died where is the childs body! aren't they suppose to handover the dead baby to the family!!!! :(
