Brij doesn't have his family, but the Sharmas thought nothing about sabotaging Sushma's plans and sending her back to him. But w/ Kabir, suddenly, they are very conscious about his family. (If that's such a great thing, see what good it did to Jyoti from Pankaj - thanks to Pankaj's CM, Jyoti is where she is today. Wouldn't a family-less Pankaj have been a lot easier for Jyoti?) But one thing that keeps annoying me is the short term memory of the CVs - just several weeks ago, they showed Kabir in that temple w/ Jyoti tell her that he's a scion from the Mewar royal family, and that his mom was dead, and that he's not on good terms w/ his dad. Yet the promo shows Jyoti demanding to know more about his family. I can understand KK, Dadi & Padma ask him about it, but not Jyoti. And yes, why does he get tense? It's not like he has to give Jyoti a sasural - just taking her into his own home is adequate.
Also, one major worry he had - that his family won't accept Jyoti's baby - is for the time being at least, now gone. So their only objection would be his marrying a divorcee who's not even a virgin. But if he's not living w/ them, and is not on close terms w/ them, will the Sharmas insist that he fix that b4 they allow him to marry Jyoti?
I think "Once Bitten is twice Shy"
Jyoti might be so inquisitive just to avoid another emotional attyachar, she has already had enough of it in the Vashisht residence.
Yes, Roshni should remain absent from Jyoti's life atleast till Kabir-Jyoti get together.
Then the secret can be revealed by a frustrated Neelam who thinks Jyoti might be enjoying life by transferring Roshni's burden on her and she may decide to pay-back. This SHOULD happen because I don't want Pankaj to get away so easily.
And no, no more on-the-marriage-day drama
Kabir's family cancelling the marriage on knowing the truth will only be a sign by CV's that even Kabir is not the one for Jyoti.
Unless Kabir stands up for her which Pankaj could never manage to do once he started doubting Jyoti.
