of Slumdog Millionaire. She is signing some pretty stupid films. I think she will end up as a one hit wonder. 😕

hahaha this is the fist time I agree with you.

I never thought frieda was anything special or extraordinary in slumdog millionaire. yet audiences were raving about her, they obviously saw somthing i didn't yet

she is signing other films, lets see how she performs and truly judge her

personally I'm not really a fan of Freida Pinto. I didn't find anything exceptional on her part in SM. But she is doing well for herself. Lady luck is smiling on her.

but truly wt did she do to deserve all that hype?i mean she played a very average character in SM..god knows thr r enuf actors who have worked way better n they actually deserve it!.but not her..

and well wt confuses me s usually the opinion around IF comes 4m fans 4m all walks of life..so ts pretty accurate n general view point.but the thing is there is hardly a person around here i have seen praising her, let alone actually be a fan!
so who is raving abt her?not so much B'wood fans..😕

she was barely in the movie for 8 mins, but the movie did well, is that to say she was responsible for its success? No, but that doesnt mean she wasn't a critical part of the success because it was promoted as a love story as well.

Let's see what happens, she did sign a few movies.

and she isn't a Bollywood actress, why are there posts about her anyway?

she was in a mov ie which went on to become a big success, so she got the exposure...no one ever said she was the best actress in hollywood..but we also can't deny the fact that western audience liked her for however long she was in the movie, it's not about how long her role was ...at the end of the day, she was able to leave impact.

as for her career being over, she is first indian who has truely got a chance to work with lead filmmakers and actors of hollywood. she is not working with some b grade projects like aish and salman did.

we will know in few years if she was one hit wonder or not, but right now she is famous, young, and beautiful...so she is not a failure yet!

I agree! She wasn't anything spectacular in SM, the little kids stole the show, but at all the award shows she looked magnificant and that's what's matters in hollywood---looks and acting! Hopefully her role in Woody Allen's film will let us know if she has any real acting abilities!
