That i agree with his popularity certainly helped in attracting viewers ... most of us here won't be watching Taryay Liyay if he was not in it, no matter how attractive the storyline would have been

Yes, Harshad is one of the USP for the show as he brings his huge fan followings along with him.But other factors definetly counts on for any success of the show .
Good story line, different concept, screen play , all actors well accepted in their characters is also very very important.
I started watching the show because Harshad is part of this show as i am Fan of HC but I now started liking the story too .The start of the show was very good and kids are performing extremely well so we must give the credit to them as they are the ones who is now pulling the audience towards the show apart from All HC's fan following.

Yes I agree with you completely I live in Pakistan and HC is also very popular here too.He is the most beautiful experience television itself can get kids are doing good too BUT the main factor is HC.
