zee cine award 2006

mauritius is currently under cyclone warning class two. it is quite bad weather. if their warning goes to class three then vehicles under road are no longer covered by insurance.... then who will carry these starts to the podium??? sun and sand my foot😆.

the stars have been streaming for some time now. but the tickets are not what common folks can afford.... the cheapest seat is Rs 7500 worth, that will be close to Rs 12000 in india!!! is this how it is in india too? of course the seats closest to the starts were taken up by the sponsors.... these special lot will also share a cocktail and interact with the stars...🤔 no cyclone is stopping these people😆😆

anyway for the rest of you out there a standing invitation.... we'll watch it on the tele.... hot pakodas and hot jalebis are on the house😆 😆 😆

Mallika and Karan to host Zee Cine Awards

MUMBAI: Mallika Sherawat and Karan Johar! That's right, Bollywood's oomph girl and the suave director team up to host the LIC-Zee Cine Awards to be held on Saturday in sunny Mauritius.

While Mallika is a first, Karan is hosting the awards ceremony, being held at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre, for the third time.

Those who have seen Karan's hit TV talk show "Koffee with Karan" know that Mallika was the hot topic of discussion in more than one episode.

Karan, who anchored a major segment of the Filmfare awards last week and was a judge on Sony's "Indian Idol" where he shared 'scream' space with Hollywood actor Will Smith, is unfortunately having a voice problem.

"The doctors have diagnosed it to be laryngitis. I am getting over it. But I sound like someone completely different. What am I supposed to do? Now I am supposed to host the Zee awards at Mauritius on Saturday. I don't know how I'll do it!" Karan told IANS.

Arjun Rampal, Konkona SenSharma and Gulshan Grover are the other celebrity hosts for the show that promises to be a starry affair with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra performing.

According to media reports, Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam has welcomed the event, offering every facility to the star personalities.

Co-presented by Pepsi and Motorola, the event can be seen live on Zee TV from 7 p.m. onwards.

lol di, why have you posted this here 😆 ...I dont live in bombay so i dunno as to how much the award function tickets cost........here we only have SRK shows 😆 and that too was washed out last year due to the rains and then he came back again and the second time, i didnt go to watch it 😆.....here the maximum that I have paid is a 5000 rupee ticket for the Enrique Iglesias concert and that too I was forced to buy tickets in my school as my school😭😭was an associate sponsor or some thing like that....so they caught a set of some 25 bakris and made us buy tickets compulsarily 😭😭😭...and having bought the ticket , i went to palace grounds for the concert and it was so badly organised...I went late and the entrance was jammed 🤢...forget about the entrance..the roads leading to palace grounds were jammed and i reach the venue late🤢🤢 and eventually after alot of pushing I enter the grounds to only find the premium ticket holders made to sit with the 500 rupee ticket walas 🤢 as all the other seats were occupied🤢 ........
