The Bachchans of Bollywood would be conspicuous by their absence at the forthcoming Zee Cine Awards in Mauritius.

Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to perform at the show, but a viral flu is keeping the young star down nowadays. Consequently, his performance stands cancelled.

On the other hand, mega star Amitabh Bachchan 's doctors are reported to have advised him not to travel. So the Big B won't be going either.

In case Mr. Bachchan or Abhi wins an award – which Bachchan senior is most likely to – Sanjay Leela Bhansali or Rani Mukherjee will collect the award on their behalf.

The Zee Cine Awards will be hosted by Mallika Sherawat and Karan Johar .

The event would see on-stage performance by top Bollywood stars.
