Round 9: Sunidhi Chauhan

I didn't like Sunidhi's soft singing in "Mere Haath Mein", but in this song she does an excellent job singing. Fantastic all the way. A true display of versatility, when this first came out people could not believe Sunidhi sang this, and so well.

Gosh! Already one 7...😡

This song is a good answer to all the critics who think Sunidhi's voice is not suited for slow soft songs.
Only one little flaw I could found was her breath control. She could have done better here. But overall very good singing with nice voice modulation.

Remember Chameli? Not only was it a turning point in bebo's career, but it also showcased a "different from usual" sunidhi chauhan.

Sunidhi is a singer which you would not necessarily relate with words like melody, calm singing etc, rather she is related with terms like-openness to voice, high note throws, item songs, songs with attitude etc.

Until now.

Heard that song? Its bloody challenging to sing.
For a singer like sunidhi, singing in a controlled voice 2 scales lower than her usual, adding melody and those small attention to details at wordings "behka hai man kahin", especially the modulation of sur and voice is immense pleasure to hear. It takes lot if practice to achieve this level of perfection to sing a track which she sang.
The producer surely may have had goosebumps before signing her like should I or shouldn't I?

Its a big gamble that has handsomely paid off.

This is the reason why I love Indian music, cause it showcases different sides of a kalakaar.

She has sung softly, calmly, and timed her sur with immense accuracy just as and when required and it simply gels well with the mood of the track, with added pleasure of listening.
