PART 1

Radhika:

'Dev...' My heart pulse quickened, my breath deepened.. 'Dev...' My insides screamed to me in want and longing...

'Dev...' I breathed. My eyes filled with litres of unshed tears... my hand went over my stomach, where presently my will to live was... my child... Dev's child... before everything happened...

I sat up abruptly, breathing deeply... the sharp pains in my heart was still fresh, and the wounds were still deep...

I needed him so badly, yet I couldn't get him... I wanted him so badly, yet he was out of reach...'Dev... where are you?' I asked... waiting for the answer I was never going to get. My throat dried up in pain as the tears threatened to spill, but I somehow controlled them. If the tears spilled now, I would break my promise to him' to my Dev'

FLASHBACK:

'Jaaneman, you look horrible when you cry, you know?' he grinned at my tearful face, trying to make the mood lighter. 'Come, I'll show you!' he dragged me off the chair and into the adjoining bathroom and placed me in front of the mirror. 'See!' he laughed, my face was red and puffy, as were my eyes.

'Baby, promise me you'll never cry again, I don't like it' ok?' he took my cold, small hand and clasped it into is warm, big one. He rubbed it slightly to make me realise he was there for me' for us'

END OF FLASHBACK.

'Dev'' my insides cried again' 'Where did you go'? We need you!' I whispered to the air. The trees rustled, and were the only witness to my suffering'

'Beti, tum jag gaye? (Have you woken up?)' The croaked voice of a half-asleep ashram member asked me' If only she knew' sleep had left me forever, just like my Dev'

'Nahi, mai thik hu, mujhe neend nahi aarihe, isliye, aap so jao, mai abhi aaye. (No, I'm fine, I can't sleep, you go to sleep, I am just coming)' I managed to give a decent answer to her, although she didn't suspect anything from my hoarse voice and went to sleep.

My eyes again filled with tears' Dev. Dev. DEV. My heart pined for him.

'No. I shouldn't be sad. I chose this. I protected him. I saved him, then why am I crying? Stop being selfish. YOU SAVED HIM! You should be happy! He's alive because of your decision'!' I tried convincing myself that what I decided was right, my mind was deceived but my heart wasn't.

Dev:

'Jaaneman'' tears seeped through my eyes' 'Kahan ho tum? (where are you?) Why did you leave me?' My body ached for her, but she was gone'

'If only' if only I didn't leave her on her own for those 10 seconds' if only' then, maybe she would be here with me now, I need you baby! Where are you?!' My cries were left unheard' I turned my face to the picture of Krishna in OUR room'

'Why, God Why, WHY?! Why did you snatch my Radhika away from me!?'

'I know she's alive. She can't leave me like this. She promised me that we would be together, forever, then why!'

FLASHBACK

'Baby! Where were you! Don't do that EVER again!!!!!' I almost shouted in fright.

'Sorry, I was looking at the sea'' she replied with a guilty look on her face.

'Jaaneman, it's ok. Promise you'll tell me next time you go anywhere, ok?'

'Don't worry, I promise, we'll always be together, forever''she sighed and rested her head on my chest'

END OF FLASHBACK.

'Baby' you broke your promise' but it's ok, I forgive you' if you please just come back' Please baby, PLEASE!!!' I cried throughout the night' sleep had evaded me' and it was out of reach, just like Radhika'

omg prachiee i was crying i cant believe radev want to be so close to eachother but they cant but wonder wt the mystery is i hope u tell us soon and make radev meet soon to plz lovely start i loved the lyrics very nice and the first part briallaint so that nice 2 ff in a week one one tuesday and thursday thanks alot prachee tc xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What a sad start why r they seperated.Interesting starting with tragic circumstances.😲😭

Awwwwwwwww This is sort of a new approach for a FF. I mean a story after RaDev are together.
Loved it a lot! If I'm not asking much can you please update this FF twice a week so that I can at least try to control my suspense nerve? 😉
