I loved your question. It asks something really interesting.I am going to try and answer it.I seriously hope no one bashes me merely because I might say something different from what they think.I respect everyone-I hope the same applies to me!
There are many kind of people in this world. Some are shy, others are flamboyant.Others are flamboyant but shy when it comes to feelings-
Arman has always expressed his love in more than one ways. And yesterday too he did that-Sid can never express his feelings ,not in the right way.But yesterday he did was sid always does-he spoke the truth ensuring Arman is not pained. They stayed true to their characters.
Now to your question: is unexpressed love inferior to expressed love?
The answer is no.Because we cannot simply equate the quality of love to the number of times one says ILU or something equivalent.
Why does Ridhima place greater emphasis on untold words?
In that scenario-Ridhima knows how much Arman loves her-she knows it well.He has told her time and again. What Sid feels she does not know-but she wants Sid to love her-she said so in the party that she wanted to hear ILU from him.So when Arman said all those words as Sid's wriiten word-she could feel that her wish came true and she could only stare at Sid.
She did not see as Arman's love because she is trying to forget all about Arman and his love. She knows that Arman loves her-she simply chooses to ignore it.
And if every person who loved someone with all his/her life would have gotten the love back there would be no notion called unreciprocated love!!
Love strikes unknowingly and it is not always fair. You may love someone with all your life but he/she may not really give a damn!
Agreed :)
But at the end of the day, Armaan is the one who ends up with nothing....
I mean isnt it reasonable that you should choose someone who loves you and would do ANYTHING for you rather than to pick someone who you wish you could be with?
As most DMGians, I feel Ridhima has let Armaan and both their love down. To an extent she has always cried for her own pain and almost never understood armaan's pain.
He lost his memory because she had a fight with him and he drove off having an accident.
She has never fought for Armaan like the way she is fighting and hoping for her and Sids relationship to prosper. Even when she was almost going crazy looking for him, it stil wasnt to this level. That was just a desperation of a few days and it was over, like the armaan chapter was closed in her life.
She has known him for more than two years and cant she read his pain?? Its all in his eyes, his love, his pain, his loneliness........
Sid just came into the picture a few months ago, and the intensity with which he loves Ridhima does not even light a candle to armaan's feelings....... So who is in more pain? Sid or Armaan?
But no, at the moment, Ridhima only sees her own pain, how they are "lying" to her and playing games.
She refuses to acknowledge the intention behind their actions.
Love really is unfair, in this case for either armaan or Sid. Ridhima can go ahead and choose whoever she wants, they will both always be there for her.
But Armaan who has spent all those loving memories with her.... the happy moments when they were together, the sad times when they broke up...... when they fought for their love against her dad, and most of all, the time when they both almost died for each other.
