This is why I just love this show. The last line of the episode as usual gave us food for thought...
Almost all of us have a dual personality... we always say little white lies here and there such that it benefits us. Even if we all might not admit aren't we all first thinking of ourselves, our company and our family over everyone and everything else?
*If a weird guy asks you out, you LIE saying you have a boyfriend.
*If you are out on a boring date, you LIE saying you remember another appointment.
*If you are caught with incomplete homework, you LIE about your dog eating it.
*If you want a day off from work to go shopping for tomorrow's big party, you LIE about being sick.
*If you want a promotion, you LIE giving raving reviews to your Boss.
Similarly, in this episode...
~Isha lies to Rohan about the astrologer dude.
~Huzeifa lies to his friends about leaking the news.
~Rohan lies to Mona about being friends with the writer dude.
~Ruchika along with the other three lie to the staff and the media about Mona being their client.
~Mona- the actress lies to herself about not being star struck (hypocrite... sort of)
Pretty much everyone is prone to lying a bit if it benefits them and as long as it does not really hurt the other. Lying is the best solution to sort of run away from explanations and maintain a bit of privacy. I guess it is acceptable but it takes guts to admit it to your friends like Huzeifa did. And well we don't really know if Isha will tell Rohan about it but I lost some respect for her in today's episode considering the least she could have done was tell Rohan she is going with the astrologer instead of lying about being sick.
Oh well, lets see what the next ep has in store for us.. Cheers!

Oh yes i love the last line! It was perfect! Esp so when coming from Rohan's mouth..😆
You know i suspected that it was Huzeifa being this..and i knew he would admit it eventually but for Isha's case, i gotta agree with you. I was pretty upset when i found out that she lied to Rohan..I don't know why she did that..i guess she doesn't want them to know that the two of the might be going out..and you're so true abt the Mona lady..
She was such a hypocrite.. 😆 I didn't expect her behave like that when she saw the writer..she was totally star strucked in this case..and what's worst was that she was offended when she found out that he knew nothing about her..i mean ahh if i remembered correctly, you was the one who wanted someone who knew nothing abt your career..so was pretty shocking when she excitedly went to take the articles written about her to show him...😆 😆

Ah! thankyou for this amazing post.. I LOVED the last line of the show.. and I love that the show never fails to get us thinking..
I was actually glad that Isha showed a flaw today.. usually she is always about the right thing to do morally and she is shown as such an achchi bachchi.. It was good to see her flawed side for once..
Am pretty sure she didn't mean harm.. I guess she thought Rohan would hound her with questions and stuff.. so she didn't want to start anything till the actual dinner.. It was a white lie after all.. what would have been bad was if Rohan had spotter her with him.. I kinda felt that Aashish did some hypnotizing psychic thing on her though.. he was always like no, no no.. socho socho socho.. i think he made her believe that its just not her week to take good decisions.. so guess she opted for the "right" decision in the end.. smart move aashish =P
I love Huzeifa's character man.. He is like the ultimate friend one can ask for. The guy is just a friend cuz he is! there is no explanation as to how he always helps.. supports.. ntohing.. the friendship is meant to be. period. He is so fidgety and tensed about finances.. its real cute..
and I loved the way he just immediately confessed when Rohan sat in.. It was as if he was waiting to get the burden off his shoulders. Huzeifa oh Huzeifa.

Re: the title, I loved that scene in the end between Rohan and Huzeifa, it left me with a smile. Huzeifa coming clean because it's just not in his nature to keep going on with a lie (shout-out to the flashback epi), Rohan calling him 'saale jhoothe kaminey,' but forgiving him without even saying it, and both of them chugging down beers to close it off with the sweetest background score playing on. Cheers to friends and friendship and friendship time :P

Despite the fact that it was an episode in which every character was having a bum day, feeling irritable, Isha had lied to Rohan and I was almost expecting them to end up at the same place, R.com wraps it all up cleanly and comes full circle with a complacent ending and food for thought.

For a while I had a feeling that they would end up at the same place for dinner/drinks and Rohan would spot her...but I think it was a tense week for the entire Rishta team so in the end they kind of showed them just relaxing in the end...
