It is flawed and how and yet it is special and will always remain so.
I am really attached to MJHT because it marks my beginning as an active member in this forum.This is the first serial over which I drooled and laughed and loved.When Nupur fell in love I was already in love with Mayank and Mayur!!
Today at the edge of the end-as I saw the four leads sprawled at their dead beds-I could cry and smile.Today I entrust myself with remembering MJHT we loved.Hence no negativity in this thread..we only remember and we fondly smile.
MJHT has been a serial which is truely an ensemble..Because in this serial all four leads had their own story.Even Diya,Benji and Uday left their mark.It was marked as a love story but it showed so many shades of beautiful relationships!With every new twist we were shown a new shade in the character.Today I salute CVs who inspite of all horrible mistakes,should be commended for giving us a show that we loved and cherished.
Mayank Sharma
It is hard for us to find male leads like him.He was unconventional to say the least.He did not play the guitar.He did not flirt.He was difficult to please,egoistic and stubborn.
And yet he blew all our minds.From his friendly and yet masti bhara relationship with Mrs.Sharma and how his mom was his best and only friend to the arrogant rivalry he showed with Sammy was portrayed interesting.Enter Nupur Bhushan -the girl who turned his life upside down and changed his perceptions of life-and we get a whirlwind of fun and passion.
Mayank Sharma presented the subtle logical side of the gang and he carried it off with amazing precision.He made you love him inspite of all his perfections.He made you believe that nerds can be heroes-you dont need to ride bikes and flirt to be cool!
He was a brilliant son,a great friend,an ideal boyfriend and an amazing husband!
Hats off to Arjun for being brilliant,for entertaining us with his bundle of amazing expression,for showing us what friendship means!!Thank you Arjun for giving us Mayank!
Nupur Bhushan
By god this girl has made me cry,laugh and tear my hair apart with her many facets.Darling protective sister,a confidante to die for,a silly filmy girl with dreams of her Raj,a girl set tp prove her self-worth,a girl fighting the ego of one whom she acknowledges as superior,fighting and winning.And finally falling for someone who was so very different from what she wished for-her initial crazy schemes and her steadfast loyalty to all those who meant something to her.
She pissed us off many times and yet we love her.She is our Nupur-flawed but loved.We love you Nupur and Rati-you are amazing okay!!
Mayur
Funny,quirky,loud and fresh-my mayur!They rocked from day one.The sizzling chemistry between ArTi helped
They were a pair who just looked good together and who just made the screen come on fire.Though Mayur was never given much storywise-their chemistry and their freshness overcame the lack stupendously.
I loved their interactions and their fights.But it was their journey of falling in love which made the forum go gaga.From their first hug when she scaredly hugs him crying cutely and his confusion as to whether to hug or not to hug..to the continous focusing reminders that mayank had to give,the heavenly Khuda jaane,the realisation,the inner struggle of stopping himself from loving her was all mindblowing.Then came Nupur's turn and the terrace scene still gives me goose bumps.Their confession and the teething problems,their wedding nights,the slight bumps in marriage-I loved them all!
They even managed the impossible.Even post marriage they remained interesting a feat difficult to achieve in TV world.
I will miss you mayur so much
Samrat
I will be honest-I did not like Sammy initially!But then he won my heart.The golden hearted boy with his own bunch of insecurities and his ever-present attitude towards friends.And he evolved amazingly well too-from arrogant cool dude to sensitive and sweet friend,to a matured man!
His friendship with Gunjan -the one sole constant factor in his life was beautifully portrayed-a brilliant friendship.His human faults-his family troubles and his popular yet lonely life!It was brilliant.I liked how he was the only person who never took advantage of Gunjan naivety or Uday;s stupidity!
With Samrat;s name I find myself taking Benji's name.Not highlighted much but that was one male bonding that drove me crazy.Loved my samji to bits!
Gunjan
The angel-the mary sue-the delicate fragile princess.Whatever she did her goodness shined through it.When I see Gunjan I see her as someone I need to protect and I am glad she had samrat for it.
A caring sister,a great friend,a loving enemy and a really sweet sali..she rocked in every facet of hers...Gunjan showed us what a girl should be like but she had her faults-her insecurity,lack of confidence and the fact that she was easily swayed.I say this not to criticise but to show that every character was made so human.
Gunjan remains an enigma...the compassion element in the gang.And she has touched my heart so many times.Salute to Sanaya!!
Sajan
Friendship,yellow flowers,deep layers of uncommunicated communication,intensity and poignance-that is sajan for me.
Sajan was about simplicity and human bonding-the bond that pulls inspite of all odds!!Hence I would keep it simple.From friends to lovers they were all for each other-I love them for being sajan-

Diya- how has she evolved.From her mind set on winning the dude to a sweet amazing sister and now a shy gf to Benji..she rocks...love you babes!
Benji-Uday: They both rocked!And I am so happy that they will be related!!I will miss your stupid jokes and dostana-giri
CJ-she left so long ago..but she made my day with her cool girl stance
