Its been a while since I made a post on this forum...
1. Because of personal issues
2. Because of the insipid DMG track
I am back with a new post after Shruti asked me to write something and also after watching a movie last night called LETTERS TO JULIET. Everyone who believes in true love (like I do) should watch this movie. This will reaffirm your faith in the power of true love, destiny and of course AR.
There was a line in this movie that really caught my attention: True love doesn't have an expiration date. I loved the line and thought it was so apt for AR.
In this movie, they have shown that a woman, because of parental pressure or just her lack of courage, moves on and marries someone else after having fallen in love with an Italian boy. After 50 years, when she receives a 'letter from Juliet' she sets out to meet her true love. She is a grandma now, but still hasn't forgotten "lorenzo' her first love. Yes, of course she does find him and reunites with him after 50 long years. In the meantime, she gives advice to her grandson, that don't make the mistake I made 50 years ago- if you love someone, have the courage and don't regret 50 years later wondering 'what if'
Yes, what if?
What if Riddhima had said NO to the marriage with Sid?
What if she had defied her parents?
What if she had agreed to the divorce?
What if she had admitted to her true feelings before this triangle could have become messy like it has now?
What if Armaan falls in love with a new girl?
What if??? That's the big question in everyone's mind right now.
Will Riddhima ever realize that what if I had put my foot down at the right moment and I would be a happier woman today? Hope she does one day....not in 50 years, not in 50 weeks, not in 50 days but NOW. That's the glimmer of hope that all of us AR fans are living with. We have been persistent and patient, just in the hope that what if Riddhima will redeem herself and realize what Armaan means to her??
Will Armaan move on in life?
Yes and No
Yes...he could probably move on by becoming the most successful doctor in Sanjeevani, dedicate his life the selfless service of others, be happy and content in making others happy
No....No he cannot and WILL NOT ever love another woman the way he has loved Riddhima. He might become friends with another woman, maybe even develop a soft corner for her...maybe even marry her if Riddhima insists (which I think she will so she can feel less guilty) but HE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO LOVE HER WHOLEHEARTEDLY.This will not be fair to the other girl.
I think Ridz like most women, could probably move on, have kids and a well settled life with Sid but somewhere deep down, she will always wonder what if....every time she makes love to Sid, she will wonder what if...maybe even imagine Armaan while doing that wifely act!
I am believer in true love, destiny and what is meant to be....I still feel that AR will come together because they have to....because true love doesn't have an expiration date and just because someone has decided to move on, the love that they shared will never diminish, in fact might get stronger with time....
