Akaashi is getting ready for her wedding when she sees a shadow lurking in the background. A vase falls to the ground and suddenly her face is covered with a dupatta.
She wakes up a while later in front of a burning fire. Shamaldas is in the shadows. He walks towards her with a bottle of acid in her hand. He tells her that she has to choose between getting married and being scarred for life and she has to decide now.
Cut to Purva who jumps up in her bed as though waking up from a bad dream. She screams "AKAASHI!"
