may 10th: Girija mayi recommends BATORI for Jai

Jai interrupts Rakishore's attempt to poison Jamu, and they have a pleasant conversation, w/ Jai totally unmindful of what chacha-ji is up to.

Bali tells Harihar & Avadh about Girija mayi's decision, and Ramlali comes in. She starts lamenting Jai's plight, and tells them that they should get Jai re-married, and recommends Batori for his wife. All 3 of them are surprised, and Bali tells her to give him her kundali, and that the matter will be settled by Girja mayi.

Later, Bali is meditating, and Ramlali enters his room w/ a kundali scroll. She calls Bali repeatedly, and finally, when Bali is done, he gets up and asks her whether she didn't notice that he was meditating? She shows him the kundali and starts yakking away, but Bali cuts her short and tells her to just give it to her, and he'll check w/ Girija mayi.

Usual Jai-Jamu scenes - really boring by now. Jai tells Jamu that she'd always be his only love. Bali is passing the room, and is sad @ what he'll have to do.

Bali visits Girja mayi and gives her the kundali. She touches & feels it, and smiles and tells Bali that this is the perfect dulhan for Jai. 😲🤢

Bali gives that news to Ramlali, and tells Avadh & Harihar about it as well. Avadh protests, saying that Jai loves Jamu, but both Bali & Harihar point out that Girija mayi is obeyed w/o question. Bali tells him that he'll force anyone to do whatever she orders. He asks Avadh whether he has any designs on Batori, and Avadh tells him that @ the wedding, he was just having fun w/ the girls, but this is serious business. Bali says that if Girija mayi asked for anyone of them to be married, he'd force it and ensure that it happened.

Ghungru tries to persuade Padmavati to enter the haveli, which the latter has never done, believing in the curse. However, @ the end, Padmavati breaks free and flees, telling Ghungru to go ahead if she has to.


Ramlali is telling Batori of this decision by Girija mayi, and both Batori and Chatori are elated. Jai overhears this and goes to Bali, who's practicing his swordfighting, and tells him that he refuses to re-marry. Bali swings his sword & him and stops it @ his neck, while Avadh tries to plead w/ him.


The Ramlali scenes are getting old - granted, her role is to provide slapstick comedy, but really, her every moment cheapens each episode. It's no longer funny - it's irritating. Also, I know that she's a cretin, but does she have to be so obvious as to make the other family members suspicious about her motives? Most moms would refuse to send a second daughter into a home where the first one is in danger, but Ramlali, who knows about the curse and has seen Jamu's condition, is only too happy to marry away Batori into this house. 😲🤔 I know she hates Jamu and was happy to sell her to this place, but Batori? I thought that she'd want a safer home for her instead.

I suspect that Girija mayi is recommending this re-marriage not b'cos she thinks Jamu will die, which she knows she won't, but to plant a decoy and divert Rakishore's attention to her. That is why when she was told of Batori, she smiled: I think that normally, she'd not want to sacrifice an innocent girl, but w/ Batori, she felt no such guilt 😉😆 So Ramlali will give Batori in marriage to Jai, who'll be forced to take it, and then she will be the target of a murder, and that might give them the opportunity to catch the killer red-handed. I'm guessing that this only makes sense if Batori is sacrificed - this plan can't end w/ Jai having 2 wives. Good thing - Premalata doesn't have to go out and hunt for other innocent girls to be sacrificed.

One thing about Padmavati that surprised me - she's willing to let her DIL get into that haveli. Also, shouldn't Rakishore be plotting to off Ramlali and the other 3 women, so that the illusion of the curse is maintained?

Thanks Vrisha for the fabulous update😃 I have my family members visiting me , so I am not able to watch the show. Looks like I am not missing much. The whole thing sounds boring

i think he will strangely say yes to get married to batori and at the wedding when he is about to apply sindhoor she wakes up and stops jai.
or batori will die..
