Hhhhmmmm.. Umrao Jaan has really been a unique album..

The starting is beautiful. Alka ji really creates magic in this song. The expressions are totally apt with the situation of the video. It really felt like Aishwarya was singing the song herself as the song's emotion was parallel to her movements there. I agree with the other judges that the song has not too many difficult portions to sing. However, the slowness takes away the attention, the amazing 'wow' factor like I found in "Main Vaari Vaari" from Kavita ji, is missing here for me. My apologies to the fans of this song.

So, my score sums up to be 9 out of 10 for this performance. A fantastic job done, no doubt!

tremendous singing by alkaji, bought back in mood, totally my kind of a sweet, soothing, simplistic, superb and an outstanding rendition! she truly is a marvel and a perfectionist, so full marks to her!

I have a special liking for slow tracks as it gives me tremendous peace of mind and she succeeds with superb attention to minute details.
