Let's start with the technical stuff. First of all, technically hazel was way WAYYYY better than angad in the dance indeed. When they were doing the moves with that red piece of cloth, when the wall was between them, u cud see angad was slower doing tht, & hazel way faster in that. It showed the energy each of them had..& honestly speaking hazel's fast motions did prove she was more energetic in the dance. Now in defense of angad, maybe he thought it was a pretty slow song that's y he could go with slow moves...i dnt really know. Next comes the lifts...it was BOTH of their fault as vaibhavi mentioned, but clearly the lack was mostly from angad. But then he's mostly used to of lifting feather-weighed sara lol. They could've done more practices...cuz the lifts looked pretty dangerous & i had no idea wat was going on, basically it ruined the whole romantic sense & it felt like some violence was about to happen lol. The whole point is, hazel was DEFINITELY better than angad in the dance, so i do agree with the judges comments to the core. And even though i understand his busy schedule & i feel for him, i cant take that as an excuse as there shud be NO excuse when a performer is on stage. So begone is begone...hazel was better...its the truth.
Now talking about the expressions & chemistry. This is where i DISAGREE with arshad to the coreee!!! He's a guy, he can't feel the chemistry that comes through angad's intense eyes. Only girls can get that. If chemistry was lacking from angad, why would vaibhavi say that he was charming in the dance to make the girls heart beat fast? First of all, WHAT IS CHEMISTRY? It's an electrifying feeling that is felt due to the interaction BETWEEN two ppl. IT CAN NEVER BE ONE SIDED. So arshad's comment was illogical IMO. If angad's expression was missing, then what expression did hazel have? The whole time, she smiled--the only expression i saw. So arshad was TOTALLY TOTALLY wrong in that.
So my whole point is, TECHNICALLY hazel was better in the duet performance & she def. deserved to win that round. Expression-wise, nobody was better than the other...they both were equal. Judge's comments were fair, but the marks weren't. Angad's some of the moves were very sharp & smooth anough to get more marks. He rocks at contemporary. Angad's duet performance was below-expectations, but group act was better...now i m looking forward to the solo performance as it sounds promising. And i have full faith in him...he will rock. :)
