Villain in Bollywood is the meanest mortal ever born on this Earth. They are the headache of our Bollywood heroes and have some of the most horrible lines which make them immortal. Sometimes these villains are so destructive that they own the movie, and the hero and heroine becomes just a mere characters. For sure, in Bollywood rules and regulations, the hero always wins, but from the viewer's point of view, the hero might have won the battle, but lost the war. Below are the five Best villains in Bollywood movies.

5. Saif Ali Khan in Omkara (Langda Tyagi): Langda tyagi was typical pastoral, rural dacoit, and foul-mouthed. It was hardly anyone remembered Ajay Devgan or Vivek Oberoi after this movie as Langda Tyagi Saif steals the show. Landa Tyagi's anxiety, greed and wickedness creep out in Saif's depiction. Truly a world class performance by Saif Ali Khan.

4. Anupam Kher in Karma (Dr. Dang): Dr Dang's Evil tactics combined with spreading terror was a treat to watch. Anupam Kher generated lots of negative vibes through his eyes. His "Thappar ki Goonj" dialogue is truly unforgettable for classes as well as for masses.

3.Kulbhushan Kharbanda in Shaan (Shaakaal): For the first time in Indian cinema there was a High Tech Villain, Owns a shark tank, sliding doors, moisturizes scalp regularly. Shaakaal's style and charm outshines those of Amitabh, Shashi and Shatrughan put together. Shaakaal's was pioneer in using gadgets, comfortable arm-wresting chair, surrounded by swimming sharks and a control room with colorful buttons.

2. Amjad Khan in Sholay (Gabbar Singh): Famous dacoit who hates Ramgarh and Thakur. Gabbar has some of the most memorable names in his gang like Sambha and Kaaliya. He has a taste for gypsy music with bonfire and Helen. Gabbar has to his credit some of the most everlasting lines of Bollywood. A laughter that no one can match and a signature motion of spitting.

1.Amrish Puri in Mr. India(Mogambo): No prize for guessing, with golden hair and fluent Hindi, Mogambo. With his large den, sliding doors, acid tanks, huge lounge area with a world map drawn on the floor Mogambo remains best villain Bollywood has ever produced till date. Mogambo was involved in creating chaos and terrorism by means of detonating bombs in public places and stealing costly antiques. Think about Amrish Puri, first thing that will strike our mind is "Mogambo khush hua".

gabbar and mogambo were stereotypical villains...today they seem more clownish than terrifying because there have been soo many spoofs made on them and their dialogues used in a humorous context..but yes..back in the hey day, they were AWESOMENESS personified. i remember being soo scared of gabbar the first time i saw sholay, or hating mogambo when i saw mr india!!
saif as langda tyagi was BRILLIANT...so much so that evil seemed like second nature to him!! lol..
