Hey ppl! Little had been said about Salunkhe saab! He is such in integral character in CID!! He had been there since early Asha episodes, been there on and off and now has once more become a permanent member of Forensic dept!
So buddies wat r ure takes on Salunkhe?
However much he has changed, wen it comes to any officer in danger, he rises to d occassion..... I always feel he likes Daya of all... He twice defended Daya in older cases... But of course he always defended others as well....He often has banters wt acp and abhi. he even pulls freddy's legs. but he is dedicated to the team and his work.
Maybe he still has grouse against acp for hving transfered him in past. However, despite their quarrels they are still on cordial terms. In manali episode they were on friendly terms. i think their equations having changed salunkhe likes to bother and annoy acp wt his banters... they are stiil buddies... in behrupia episode u cud c their relationship very clearly....
Then in Sr. Inspector epi he defended abhi...
He loves the team despite his u-know-wat....

Well guys wat do U feel about him??

Dr. Salunkhe. I have a love-hate relationship with him. I can never forget how he saved Daya Sir from that witch Anjalika 😡 when a man died on his own in Daya Sir's custody. Anajlika was all out to put him behind bars but Dr. Salunkhe with his super intelligence and wise thinking got him out of trouble. He even refrained him committing suicide. For this one BIG BIG favor he did, I can take whatever he does.

However for me there are two Dr. Salunkhe, before and after The Case Of Dangerous Lady (aired 9-Mar-2007). Before 9^th March 2007, he was sane and a wonderful character. He gave us some really lovely moments. Showed why he was just the best Forensic Expert. His relationship with ACP was so sweet. There was genuine respect and love. How sweetly he used to call Daya Sir "Mere Bacche". Who can forget cases like THE CASE OF THE CLINCHING EVIDENCE, his "bhindi" scene with ACP in THE CASE OF THE MULTIPLE PUZZLES or his assurance to Daya Sir towards the end of THE CASE OF THE HEALTHY PATIENTS.

Post 9^th Mar 2007, he has gone crazy. He lost his brains under that stupid wig. Now he behaves very weirdly at times (read most of the times), getting into un-necessary arguments with the Trio, especially with ACP. Yes, he loves the team and always rises to the occasion when we really want him to. But some of the tiffs are soooooooo stupid that I don't even feel like laughing at them.

If possible give me the old Salunkhe, the real Dr. Salunkhe and I will be really happy.

There was a poll on who is the better forensic doctor...I chose Niyati there just because Salunkhe - II is sometimes very very irritating.

Niyati too had her differences with ACP, but she was real fun and has given some lovely moments. Who can forget her 'Itni zor se dua mat maango, dushman ko lag jaayegi...paas mein hi khade hain'.

She showed her differences with ACP in a nice way.

This unnecessary bickering about hair, Tarika and what-not is getting to my nerves. There was one episode where he says that Tarika is his boss. Now how is that!!!

These days he always has a scowl on his face....always spreading negativity.

Niyati was much much better.

yah that was the introductory episode for tarika...thats how he introduces her in case of the revenge of the Don..(watever the name is)😕

As prabha di had said, that episode didnt have anything in its right position!

Anyways, coming back to dr.salunke, I completely agree that Salunke II gets on my nerves at times...and the Forensic scenes have become so monotonous! thanx to Abhi-tarika flirting and the fights between abhi-salunke....and ACP too.daya keeps shut in the forensic....thts still better!

After the entry of tarika Forensics started becoming boring and stupid..other than one or two episodes, the scenes had nothing special..earlier days, be it Salunke part 1 or niyati days, forensics had some major role to play in making the episodes interesting.these days I cant see anything interesting in there!😕

salunke is an integral part of CID. but he needs to have a consistency in his character! I mean its difficult to judge him otherwise! the directors make it even more confusing!

This Salunkhe - II is a pain in the neck. Bickering all the time, all the time. If you go to see he has also turned into a Joker. This is another BIG Change in Characterization Blunder by Fireworks. They have totally destroyed a lovely respectable character

Yeah I remember when he said that, I almost fell off my seat. Taarika his Boss, what a JOKE . That is definitely a blooper. I think he said it in the disastrous The Case Of The Vanishing Magician (aired 24-Aug-2007). Anyway Madam Taarika's entry has been the worst ever addition to the CID Forensic Dept, even Dr Niyati's assistants we better than her. I wish I could give her, her transfer order.

wasnt it Tarika's introductory episode where he says that? he goes on to say that from now on Forensic has been seperated from CID ..its a seperate department...arre the scene where tarika is on a treadmill!!! the Case of Final revenge of the DON!!!

Salunkhe has indeed been a very important part of CID since the beginning.We can never forget what he did for our dear Daya when that 😈 Anjalika almost sent him behind the bars.Though he always argues with the team all the time but when it comes to a situation when any of our CID officers need support he is always there but yes his character has definitely kind of got spoiled after his comeback he was rather more professional earlier but yes whenever it comes to forensic doctor he has been my favourite and after him comes Dr.Niyati.

So whenever it comes to talking about the CID team we can never neglect Dr.Salunke 😊

I don't remember his saying it there. In The Case Of The Vanishing Magician (aired 24-Aug-2007), ACP asks him who is the boss and he says Dr Taarika. 🤣
