How Anwar Sayed won Roadies
MTV Hero Honda Roadies 7, the most sinful safari has come to a twisted end leaving XLRI graduate Anwar Sayed as the winner! After 3 months of the deadliest tasks ever, this journey has come to an explosive halt. Kick starting the journey in Maharashtra, the Roadies traveled to the wild terrains of Africa and back for a grand finale in aamchi Mumbai. Anwar Sayed (from Delhi) has previously done his engineering from Bangalore and has graduated from XLRI (Jamshedpur) with an MBA degree. Anwar got onto the show purely for the love of adventure and he landed up having the journey of his life.
What next after winning the Roadies title?
"Let's see, I am hoping that I will get a good career break both in the MBA field and also in the entertainment industry as I am just waiting for some really good offer."

"If good offers come why not and now I am in an open frame of mind, so anything good is always accepted and appreciated."

Did you expect that you will be the winner of Roadies 0.7?
"I knew that I had all the qualities of a Roadies winner so I thought it was a realistic dream which I was seeing and now I am happy that I have won the competition."

Are you still in touch with your Roadies' friends?
"Oh yes, I am in touch with everyone like Priyanka, Meghna, Amritpal and many others and now we have bonded really very good and I am happy that through this show I have gained more friends.."

What tips you would like to give to future Roadies contestants?
"Prepare for anything in this show, be focused that you have to win the Roadies title and give 100% to the competition."

Any memories from the show you can share with us?
"The most important memory which I will never forget is that on the Roadies show I celebrated my 25th birthday in Mangalore and my birthday was witnessed by all my family and friends on TV."

How was Irrfan Khan as the host?
"He brought unique style in his anchoring though he was soft spoken but his anchoring style was threatening. I'd rather say Raghu was a more loud and bold as a host and Irrfan khan was a sort of shrewd and cunning host."

Raghu was not a part of Roadies this season. Do you think that affected the viewership?
Raghu had its own style and audiences have been used to see his bold, unique style of anchoring and it will take time for the audience to accept Irrfan Khan as a host and over the time it will happen because everyone wants a change."
