Ah...Can you tell me where are the police????

During this whole time with the kidnapping of Kau why did we never see the police or did I miss something. Loha should have called the police to help him locate Kau and to arrest the offenders who should be arrested.
No police ever come out to the Haveli when a crime is committed which is a lot. They would all have been arrested a hundred times over.
We only saw the police when laali was in jail and a few other times, but they are not out their much at the haveli....
