When I first read Mishti's script, "yeh duniya, yeh mehfil mere kaam ki nahin..." from Heer-Raanjha came to mind but 'dukhi man mere...." fits the gendwa phool so much better!

Bee this song reminds me of Dev and Radhika.....this song was picturised when Jayas character has just arrived in this house as a new bride.....Anil Dhavan is the actor who plays her husband. Since the entire family lives in a two bedroom apartment in one of Mumbais Chawls.....they don't have space to be intimate with each other 😉.....on top of that they also have to sleep separately.......wife in the kictchen and husband I think outside the apartment in the corrider.😃😃..........so thats why it reminds me of Devs condition when he follows Radhika around and complains to her that she is only following her bahu dharma and not patni dharma..😃😃😆😆😆😆😆 ....its a very sweet song and I will love if one day the creatives play this as background music when Dev is sulking that Radhika is not paying him attention.
