lalla: this is a common nickname given to boys in India. ghar ka naam as they say. Nicknames like 'lalla' are given at the time when the boy is small to call upon them affectionately
Abeer: literally name means fragrance or the color of gulaal(red) ..one can always substain a frangrance/gulaal but it never remains in one's hands for eternity
Lalla was a boy who was always under his father's rulings of what is right and what is wrong..even if it was against his own wishes. He went along his way not caring what the world thought of him or about him. He adored his mother and respected his dadi, his family were his everything. Sometimes his carelessness gets him into trouble, but no sadness here, he bounces back to his cheery self
Abeer is a man who stands up for his love and principles. He knows what is right and bashes anyone against any wrongdoings. He knows what to do when the grind gets tough and is responsible enough to get things done the right way. Whether its fighting against a gunda or standing up against his entire family, the truth is his only support and enough to make him win any fight. Like his name, he can easily come into anyone's hands (TN's) but will never stay there if it is against his will
We've seen both aspects of this in Lalla/Abeer's character... both come out at different times, but more recently we've been seeing a constant fight between Lalla and Abeer...I think he's more or less finding outwho he really is and finally picking what he's going to stick w/ for the rest of his life.
I guess now we see a transition from carefree somewhat irresponsible college boy to mature hardworking man?
