Dimpy is spared of Rahul's emotional atyachar; we

Within a month of tying the knot, Rahul Mahajan's wife Dimpy Ganguly decided to do a loyalty test on her husband, courtesy Emotional Atyachaar. Mahajan known for his flirtatious behaviour was put to test but he came out clean! Incidentally, it was Nikunj Mallik -- one of the contestants of Rahul's swayamvar show and the girl most had hoped he will marry – the EAT chose to trap Rahul. It was reported, just before Rahul had married that he and Nikunj were dating and she had entered the show only to get married but seeing him grow fonder of Dimpy she decided against it.

On Emotional Atyachar, Rahul will bump into Nikunj, who will introduce her to EAT's undercover agent Priyanka Nandi. But just when others expect Rahul to get cozy with the girls by the pool-side, he chooses to restrict his actions thereby reaffirming Dimpy's faith in her husband.

A source from the show says, "Dimpy wanted to show the world that Rahul is now a changed man and is loyal to her. Contrary to his image, he was being just friendly with the three girls – Nikunj and the two undercover agents. He greeted Nikunj warmly as they know each other for quite some time. He even acknowledged on the show that he is happily married to Dimpy and is having the time of his life which had her grinning from ear to ear. When Dimpy surprised him later disclosing he was being spied on, Rahul wasn't shocked. He was calm and he hugged her. This episode will be the grand finale of this season."

Nikunj refused to divulge details but said she wasn't aware that the episode will have Rahul being spied upon by Dimpy. She said, "When they approached me for the show, I hadn't a clue that the show will feature them. It was too late by the time I came to know about them and I had already given my consent to the channel."

So does she think Rahul is a changed guy now? "I am of the opinion people don't change. Besides, no guy will stray in a month-old marriage!"

While Rahul remained unavailable for the comment, Dimpy said, "The loyalty test wasn't for me but for the media which has been questioning me about Rahul's alleged wandering attitude. I trust him completely and this test was done to show the entire world that my man is trustworthy. I have a friend in the production team of Emotional Atyachar who told me how the lives of most couples who come on the show come crashing down. So I thought of putting my husband in a spot and show the world how he fares!"

Well, that's very thoughtful of Dimpy to prove things to the media but we wonder for how long she is going to do these things considering the Mahajans will always be in the spotlight and will continue to face the trial by media at some point or the other.
