Maha Episode Discussion Thread

Hi I don't know if It's appropriate for me to start this or not but I saw the show and wanted to make a few comments

The Star of the show as usual was Ms. Usha Nadkarni…. I love her! She is so realistic and this Show, even though it feels a bit stretched sometimes is SOOOO GOOD! I have never cried over a TV show but Hats off to you Ms. E. Kapoor you have won my heart and respect!

Points:

a. I loved Shravani getting shut up – she definitely deserved it. While I am trying to see her point of view it seems that her character doesn't understand or respect the fact that Archana is still the DIL of the house and while she may be at odds with the couple that it's in her best emotional and mental interest to accept things for what they are and at least try and be happy (she is preggo right?)

b. a bit of a blooper in the kitchen scene btwn Archu and Dam Baba they shot it in the kitchen that they show for the Karanjkar household…

c. it's so nice not to have to see too much of Ajit today, the less we see of him the better! Also, his animosity with the Karnjkar Girls is a bit too farfetched, it's petty and spiteful and no one goes that far to seek revenge we get it: he hates them. Who devotes their entire day/night trying to "hate on" someone else? Doesn't he have a job or is he unemployed living off Mommy?

d. For that matter RA is a bit over the top as well I have seen bad saas/bahu relationships but you don't put someone down in front of guests that's just showing how low you are RA! Besides, who taught you how to speak to people? How are you so "high class" yet so low thinking…it's pathetic!

d. I enjoyed Manju behaving nicely with her in-laws during all the wedding prep but I hope this re mortgaging the house doesn't rock their relationship!

e. if Satish's family and Rasika Aai's families are so close why then did they wait until the wedding before they discovered that Ashwin was related to Satish? (btw what is Satish's last name?)

f. I feel for Savita Aai because from her POV she can't just tell Shravani to leave, she's carrying her (Sav Aai's) grandchild…. What can SAV aai say "give us the kid and be on your merry way?" its hard It will be interesting to see how this is handled
