After seeing today's episode, I get a feeling that Chirag is positive and not negative. His intentions seem good. Or else why would he call Vasu & Alvir and threaten to kill the other. He also said a dialogue to Ranvir sarcastically 'Aap tho apne maa se nafrat karte hain, to aapko to khushi hogi na', something like that. So I think he is basically doing all this to bring out the true emotions of everyone, as when something like this happens, ego and pride takes a back seat and the welfare of the one you love gains utmost importance. This is what is seen in Vasu's desperation to protect his children in todays episode. So basically his intention might just be to unite everyone, supporting the cause of Ragini & Sadhna.
