I just complete reading the whole FF. Wow it was wonderful👏.👏
Ridz character was just outstanding.😊😊👏
👏👏👏😊She is soo lucky to have such great friends with her. i envy her.
I am sure u must be having such wonderful set of friends with u too.😉
😃the ball night sceen was penned down so excellently⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. all the dialogs were so powerful.
i just love their gang. whenever i read it, i so want to be a part of the gang.😆😆😆

Hello friends, another part here,

IMPORTANT - This part is dedicated to Habs(princess52) for her recovery, welcome back, and to Lovy, so that she too comes back soon.
Also, this part is for Riddhan, and Maryam, who ate my head with their little competition. Hope you all like it.

PART 20

Armaan was having a flashback of all the scenes of the morning, and smiling to himself. That was how Anjali and Mayank found him when they came to meet him. He was so lost, that he did not realise when did they both settle down by his side. They called him a a few times, but getting no response, Mayank winked at Anjali.

"Haan to Anjie, who was that guy who came a few minutes back?", Mayank said, still, no reaction,

"AREH WOH, woh to flowers laya tha, for Riddhima u see...", Anjali was cut off in between as Armaan immediately straightened and pulled Mayank's collar,

"Kaun tha woh, just tell me his name, i'll kill him right now, how dare he give flowers, and wo bhi meri Riddhima ko, doesnt he know ki Riddhima ko flowers sirf main de sakta hoon, and i dont understand, Riddhima ko flowers lene ki kya zarurat thi, why is she encouraging him? I'll just go and set her right", he bursts out, and is about to get up, when Mayank pulls him down, and whispers,

"Abe oye, relax, remember if Anjali comes to know that your fracture is a fake one, it wont be hidden from Riddhima too, get it. She may approve of your love for Riddhima, but she cant hide any secrets from her, isliye control kar", Armaan nods his head immediately, n settles down,

"Hahahaha, Armaan, you are such an easy target, tumhare saath maza aayega, anyways, how are you now?", Anjali asked,

"I am perfectly fine (Mayank smacked him unnoticed by Anjali) ouch, it hurt (seeing Anjali's confused expressions, Armaan continued) wa woh Anjie, actually, waise to i am ok, but still there's lots of pain, you know, my hands pain, my legs pain, my whole body aches, infact my face is paining so much, you know, even if i smile, it hurts my cute dimples, see, i'll show you", saying this, Armaan made some unsuccessful attempts to smile, and showed as if he was in real pain,

"Yeah, maybe i get it, anyways, i'll see it some other time, ok Armaan, now i have to go, bye, take care", Anajli rushed from there, she was quite confused seeing his weird expressions, and thought it was due to some mishappening with his head from the morning incident.

Mayank was left in the room, and after Anjali left, Armaan passed his victorious smile to Mayank, as if asking, 'how was i?'. Mayank smacked his head and muttered, 'Poori family ko over acting ki beemari hai', as he passed a fake smile to Armaan.

Armaan was getting bored sitting in the bedroom. Nothing held his interest at this moment, no tv, no comics, no video games, nothing felt right. He was missing Riddhima terribly. After the clothes wala scene, she had come just once, to give him his medicines, and some books n comics to read. Then also, she'd left immediately. He reached out for his cell, n dialed the number. She picked up after 5 calls, thats 15 seconds.

"Hello"

"Riddhima!"

"Armaan, bolo, sab theek to hai na, all well, are u fine", Riddhima got tensed, n this spread a smile on Armaan's face,

"Uh, actually, there's a problem, plz come soon", Armaan kept the phone, n needless to say, just 15 seconds later, Riddhima was in his room, quite punctual you see. Seeing the care for him in her eyes as she examined him from head to toe, his heart did flips all around.

"Armaan, whats the problem", Riddhima finally asked sternly, when she cudnt figure something herself,

"Wo, Basket, i am getting bored, plz stay here", he grinned sheepishly,

Riddhima's anger melted down seeing him smile like a child asking for his candy, n she too smiled.

"Ok, then let me get my stuff from he study, i'll just be back", saying this she went from there.

Riddhima returned a few minutes later, carrying about 15-20 files in her hand. Armaan was shocked, was she planning to make him also work along with her. But his fears were soon drenched.

"Armaan, now i am sitting here n doing my work. You tell me if u need anything", she said, n got back to her work,

'Gosh, is this girl really so dumb. She's behaving like one baby sitter, n i so get the baby wali feeling, yikes! I dont want a baby sitter, i want my Baskettt. Her coming n sitting like this here for work doesnt helps me in anyways, oh no, i'll have to think of something, soch Armaan, soch', n it striked him, he knew what to do.

"Uh Riddhima, mera phone tumhare peeche pada hai, can u plz pass it along"

Busy in reading her file, Riddhima's hand searched for the cell, n she was about to give it to him, when she heard him say,

"I think i'll call Dr Ayesha"

Riddhima's attention immediately shifted as she heard him speak Ayesha's name, she immediately pulled back her hand which had his cell.

"Lekin kyun, kya hua?", she asked,

Armaan knew he had hit bang on, and he answered her in the ost innocent way,

"Wo, i told you na, i am feeling bore, n need someone to talk. So maybe i could talk to her n even ask her about my recovery n all, what say?", it was very difficult for Armaan to control his laughter as he saw Riddhima getting red with annoyance.

"You didnt tell me you wanted to talk, you only asked me to stay here", she accused him,

"I thought you were intelligent enough to understand what did i want?", Armaan also spoke back,

"Do you think i can listen to whatever your heart says without speaking?", Riddhima shot back,

"Cant you really?", Armaan's voice suddenly changed into a soft one, again asking her innumerous questions in those three words, and the intensity in his eyes, ufff, it was too much for her to take.

This was what she always hated, they could never be normal. Just when she felt they could be normal friends, his one liners came in between them, accompanied by his intense stares, which touched her deep down. She wished she could reciprocate his feelings, but the conversatio in the study after the engagement party forbid her from getting closer to Armaan. She new they had no future togehter.

"Ah, leave it Armaan, i'll see what we can do to spend the time", she went away. Armaan cursed himself foe his behaviour. Just when she was behaving normally with him, he had to do the unevitable. He knew she will confess her feelings with time, but his heart was way too impatient.

Riddhima returned after about 20 minutes, n Armaan realsied she had used the time to compose and calm herself. She carried few cds n dvds. Armaan was puzzled, n he hesitatingly asked her,

"Um Riddhima, what have you thought of?"

"I've got us some games cds, n some movies, these will cut our lots of time", she spread them in front of him, n he saw them. A particular cd caught his attention, n he knew this was it, but he had to be very thoughtful. There was still time for lunch, and he immediately formed a plan.

"We'll play these games first (he picked up some random games cds, n gave it to her), n haan, shudnt we order the lunch, it will come by the lunch time", he laughed inwardly,

"Haan, usually Jack and Mack cook, but i think today we'll do with something from outside. They deserve some break too", they immediately decide the menu, n Riddhima placed the order at the mac donalds. Armaan smiled seeing her place the order with a child like excitement. He had expected her to come up with the idea of ordering some chinese food, or thai food, or continental, or italian. But he forgot that this was Riddhima, his Riddhima, she had to be different, just unique. She instead came up with the foods like burgers, french fries, pizzas, n few more. She even asked the manager not to forget the free lava cakes n puddings with the food. She looked really adorable to him, n made him feel the luckiest being on earth.

Finally, they started playing the games, and needless to say, it was a quite a diversion. They played all games, from racing, to fighting, and saving the princess too. They bickered and bantered with each other for small issues, n landed accusing the other of cheating. The door bell rang, and Armaan threw his wallet for Riddhima to catch (Armaan has his things here coz Nandini Maa had sent them, as if he was going on a tour to Switzerland, waise, not tht Switzerland was bad, but what was the use of going there without Riddhima. So he basically preferred staying here, in her house, and with her). So where was i, haan he threw his wallet to her, he cudnt let the lady pay now, could he, he's the perfect gentleman after all. Riddhima went to pay the guy with the delivery, and as she was coming inside with the food, everything got imbalanced, n in order to save the food, she dropped Armaan's wallet. She went to the kitchen n placed the food on the counter, n returned to pick his wallet, n the things which had fallen out. Suddenly, a picture caught her eye, n she was lost in it. It was a picture of her dancing with Armaan, during Anjie's pre-engagement party. She recalled the dance, and a blush crept to her face. She sat there for a few minutes, and then finally got up, to get the food.

She entered the room, only to see him settled on the bed,half sitting and half laying. His eyes were closed, and she sensed that perhaps he was exhausted, they hadnt played played the games lightly anyways. She moved to him, n placed her hand on his houlder. He immediately got up,

"Oh, u r back, sorry, i just...", he spoke softly,

"Its ok Armaan, lets have some food", she also answered softly,

"Riddhima, can u please help me eat (she nodded at his request) and now can we watch the movie while eating food", Armaan said

"But we can watch that even after eating the food"

"Plz, can we watch it now"

She couldnt say no, so she agreed,

"Ok, whcih one?"

"This, he handed her a dvd, which had two movies, back to back"

"TWILIGHT AND NEW MOON? Armaan, are you sure you want to watch these movies?", Riddhima was shocked, n wanted to be sure if he knew what he was opting for,

"Yeah, i am dead sure, now start this movie, n lets have some food"

AUTHOR'S NOTE : Guys, i saw twilight long back, n i dont remember anything, so no details about the movie, and as for new moon, its on my list of to do's as soon as i finish my exams.

The movie started, and started the process of eating food. Riddhima was quite busy in the movie, and Armaan's plan worked quite well. He knew twilight was a love story, and no matter what was her nature, Riddhima would like twilight, after all, she too was in love, so how could she not like a love story. The movie proved to be a big advantage, Riddhima was so involved in the movie, that she did not notice Armaan staring her all the time. Their eating process was like, Riddhima picked up something, she gave one bite to Armaan, n next bite to herself. They were going on like this, when suddenly Armaan cudnt control anymore, and as she was giving him the next bite of pizza, he took a bigger bite, and kissed her finger slightly. Riddhima was shocked at what had happened, that little sensation in her finger broke her focus from the movie. Sh eimmediately turned to see Armaan, and found him watching the movie busily. She thought she had just imagined the incident, and continued watching the movie. Armaan hid his grin, so she did feel it to, but he had to be careful, so he reapeted his act only two three times more, and with certain intervals. Riddhima did not know it was intentional, but she too did not complaint about it.

After they finished with the food, Armaan asked Riddhima to sit besides him on the bed and rest along the bedrest, as she too would be tired. She agreed, and they both sat together, watching the movie. At this point, even Armaan took interest in the love story of the couple. Riddhima unconsciously made a comment on the hero,

"He's so cool na, the perfect partner one could ask for"

Armaan was irked with this comment, and started comparing himself with the hero. He noticed that he could do everything that the hero could, except for those physical natural powers, but he justified himself saying that he was no vampire, Riddhima too wasnt in the feet of the heroine. So all in all, he found himself perfect for her, infact, he thought he was better than that Edward guy in many ways. He was about to point this out to Riddhima, when he saw her sleeping peacefully. She had snuggled close to him, and her head rested on his shoulder as she was sleeping. Armaan admired his love lady, she looked so much in peace, finally, and seeing her so close to him, he put his arm across her body, pulled her a little closer, and slept, keeping his head on hers, while her head snuggled in his chest now. They slept like this, in a half sitting position, as if there was no tomorrow.

Riddhima opened her eyes, found herself sleeping next to the most adorable person on earth. She realised their position, and tilted her head a little, to have his view, and saw him sleeping, with a smile on his face. There was a peace on his face, which she had never seen before. She caressed his face a little, and thought of how perfectly she'd slept. This was the best sleep of her life, she had slpet wothout any worries in her mind, for the first time. She noticed how perfectly they belonged in each other's arms, and how their hearts had found their right place. Suddenly, Armaan also woke up due to her shifting, and he saw her awake, and looking at him, with millions of questions in her eyes. He misunderstood her look, and said,

"I am so sorry, i also just slept, it was unintentional, sachi mein", he lowered his head and removed her from his grasp. She got up, and saw the time, the watch showed 8:30 at night. They were amazed at how long they'd slept. Armaan said he wasnt much hungry, and simple salad would do for him, so that night, they had only salad in food, and were about to think of what to do, when Riddhima received a call form Mayank.

"Hello, haan Mayu bolo... kya, u guys arent coming home...but...Mayu you know him...but if he comes to know...ok, best of luck, bye"

"What happened?", a tensed Armaan asked,

"Wo Mayank and Anjie are not coming home today, Anjie needs to practice hard for her upcoming show, so she has day and night shifts. She'll stay on the venue only, and Mayank, wo Nupur is coming back from Morena, so Mayank has to go, obviously"

"And...", Armaan prompted her,

"And...", Riddhima lowered her eyes,

"And you are worried about...ummm... Abhi's reaction", Armaan said,

"How did you...", Riddhima was about to ask, but even she knew it was useless to ask, Armaan knew her worries, and that was the matter,

"Riddhima, dont worry, i am sure i'll be gone long before Abhi comes back, promise, they all are still busy with their preparations for the engagement, and even Chhoti Maa joined them today after she visited me, so i have enough time to recover and get out from here", he tried a smile, but she knew it wasnt his true smile, his dimples didnt look cute right now. She wondered why was that, but she thought better against asking him.

"Armaan, i wanted to ask something, about the sleeping arrangement", Riddhima spoke hesitantly,

Armaan hadn't thought of it, yes, she would have to sleep in one of the other rooms. He already thought she distrusted her, or else she wouldnt have mentioned Abhi, and now this, what more was he supposed to do to gain her trust. He waited for her to continue.

"I... i was thinking, ki you should take your medicines, then i'll help u change, and then we should sleep. You shouldnt stay awake for long. You can sleep on the bed, and i'll sleep on this couch here, its quite comfortable"

Armaan was shocked out of his wits, Riddhima just mentioned about sharing her room with him, this was way more than what he hadnt expected. Ofcourse he didnt expect her to sleep next to him, and this was the most she could do. His heart was filled with happiness, and he saw her waiting expectantly for an answer.

"Basket, just help me change my t-shirt, i dont wanna hurt the wounds, as for the rest, i'll manage", he smiled his big wali smile at her. Riddhima was puzzled asto what had happened so suddenly, that he smiled this big, but it didnt matter. All that mattered was that he was happy.

Riddhima helped him change into a comfortable t-shirt (she was all blushing, ok), and went o change herself, while Armaan quickly changed the rest. He saw Riddhima emerge out of the washroom, in a sleeveless top that hugged her, with capries. The top was white in colour, with a big red heart in the centre, and there was something written on it 'I am Adorable'. Armaan smiled, she hadnt noticed him standing yet, and he was too lost in her to remember he was supposed to have a fractured leg. Suddenly, the lights went off, and Riddhima screamed, Armaan was jerked form his world. He immediately called,

"Basket",

Riddhima heard his voice, n felt highly relieved, she immediately rushed in his direction, and due to the darkness, and her fears, she bumped into him. Armaan was not ready for her sudden arrival, n he lost balance, as her figure came n hit her. He landed on the bed, with Riddhima on top of him. Riddhima felt so happy on having found him, that she immediately hugged him tightly. Armaan was shocked at her act first, but hten, he knew she was scared. He also hugged her, just to assure her. Riddhima was loving this, his act of hugging her to take care of her overwhelmed her, n she did not realsie when did she fall asleep.

Armaan also did not break the hug (areh yaar, complaint to tab karein jab dono mein se kisi ko problem ho). After abou tan hour, the power came back. Armaan saw Riddhima sleeping peacefully on him. He wanted to stay like this forever, but controled himself, got up carefully, n laid her on the couch, n he himself went to sleep on the bed.

PRECAP - Another few days pass by, but a shock awaits Armaan and Riddhima, Armaan lands into a fight.
