The motion: This house believes that Sid and Riddhima should remain bonded in holy matrimony.
Shashank and Armaan have had an overwhelming conversation where both men understand the present. Armaan accepts Sid and Riddhima's marriage and is on his way to leave them be, but Shanky stops him saying that he needs to convey his feelings to Riddhima. In his absence, Riddhima will never be able to move on and will be guilt ridden, by staying back he will prove that he can live without her and bear witness to the same without any difficulty. In turn, this will prove to Riddhima that in fact she should be happy because Armaan is too.
So off goes Armaan to literally knock some sense into Sidsterš his aim only to unite Sid and Riddhima
Ammy v Sidster
The motion: This house believes that "Riddhima bauhat hi traditional hai"
Armaan argues this as the reason why she won't sign the divorce papers. Sid responds that he knows her anger will overpower her traditions and compel her to sign the papers. Armaan is obstinate and encourages Sid to forget about a divorce and Sid questions how will this change her feelings? š¤
Now, if Riddhima is traditional enough not to sign for a divorce, why would she then go on to accept her love for Armaan, i.e. someone other than her husband? š³
The fact that she omits from answering Sid's question is enough for anyone to make their own judgements but it is not a conclusive answer.
Sid is inaccurate to think that her silence is her confession and Armaan is wrong to believe him. I feel as if we're going round in circles again. Preconceived notions about what Riddhima wants without asking her, Sid and Armaan listening to another and acting to Riddhima's detriment, isn't this why she said none of them deserved her in the first place? Ooof! š¤¢
The conclusion, it seems Riddhima has turned rebellious she thwarts Armaan's prediction by in fact signing the papers and yes she is angry. But Sid is sooo very wrong for the reasoning behind her decision. Thus in fact proving them both wrong.
Does anyone really know Riddhima or is she as temperamental as British weather?
Ammy and Ridzy v tradition v divorce v Sid v ?!?!
This house believes that Armaan should learn to trust his own instinct and refrain from confronting Riddhima on Sid's presumptions.
Armaan now turns against his initial aim and goes on to confront his lady love, bechara. š„ŗIts more disbelief rather than anything and we all know the saying "curiosity killed the cat", that cat is Armaan. I think he's in for a shock and it's always Sid who lands him in it! Armaan's most used line, "Tumhare pati ne kaha". Riddhima is bound to be angry again, all these guys talking about her behind her back adding 1+1 to make 3. One misunderstanding solved that another crops up from somwhere. Anyone remember the friends episode where Rachel mistakenly believes that Joey proposed to her? This is exactly the same situation.
Shanky (and Armaan??) v Sid and Riddhima's Modi's divorce
This house believes that Dr. Shashank could work as part time counsellor as a future job prospect.
On the other hand, oblivious Shanky still believes that he and Armaan are the rakhwale for Sidster and Ridzy's relationship so off he goes to give his 2 pence worth to Sid. And he will learn that the best way to come about it is to attack the male ego, if you divorce Riddhima, you are a coward. Wah, kya logic hai! But I do love Shanky/ Monish Behl, I feel as if its Monish Behl himself speaking the lines to the characters at the minute and my respect seems to just grow for him. šSo obviously I agree with his advice to Sid, running away isn't the solution to anything, rather than sending the papers through Jiggy sit down with some tea/coffee and talk to each other! Tried and failed? Then just try again! Only this time, remaining silent is not an option. In their situation, all the questions which are asked will need to be answered.
Other general pointers from today's episode-
The SidMaan scene! Haaai main marjaawa gur khake! No need for the gur actually the hotties are sweet enough. āŗļøšBut ermmmm yes, did anyone notice how Armaan went to touch Sid's face then realised that he was getting slightly too intimate and only just managed to avoid giving in to those hidden desires...eeek! Haha aww I love them! šāļø
Did anyone else know that the fire escape actually led you directly to the BB court?! I think that was the biggest shocker of DMG till date, forget Armaan and Riddhima's return! š²
And baby Siddy Widdy, "in fact kisiko bhi meri zaroorat nahi"....why you say that dude? well, it all depends on how you define "kisiko" I suppose, otherwise fikker not, main hoon na! š³
Thank you for reading, no bashing, hope you enjoyed the post and if you did please leave comments!
