Fought with herself not to love him, yet she still did. Fought with her father from keeping her from him. Fought with God after his memory loss, and won him back. Fought with fate and took the bullet for him. That's the Riddhima Gupta the fans have always loved; the one to fight with every obstacle in her way only for her Armaan. The always-listen-to-my-father girl transformed herself into get-slapped-for-cheating-for-him for that one Armaan.
Of course, now the same Riddhima Gupta is Riddhima Modhi. She is someone's wife and has bonded into a strong marriage institution. But are the CVs trying to give the message that if you are married, yet you love someone else, you are forced to stay in that relationship? It is clear Riddhima does not love Sid. And as great as Sid is, he is not to blame for any actions either.
But the point is, Riddhima is only staying in this marriage for the sake of that sindoor. If life takes a turn of events, and she is somehow separated from Sid and married to someone else, will she forget him too? Why are the CVs labeling their own character as bewafa by doing this? He's her husband, yes, but Armaan was her fiance too then. In the Ya Rabba sequence, Riddz smiled when she saw herself with Armaan. The smile only went away when she her married self with Sid. So CVs, what message are you trying to convey in the times of 2010? If you are not fully satisfied with your marriage, and love someone else with all you have, its okay--stick it out, because the CVs will give you pretty patching scenes to make you fall in love all over again.
Its degrading to Riddhima's character to have her forget her love for the sake of that sindoor. Whatever happened to the Riddz who could fight the world for her Armaan?
Kya karein, yeh kambakht sindoor😆
No offense to anyone, and no bashing please😉
