first of all let me say that although i am Sidma fan but i loved Arman's character from the beginning, although he wasn't perfect not even close to it!...basically he wasn't the perfect understanding lover all the time!..but i still loved him to the core!..because he was a real guy with real issues!..and he tried to deal with them the best way he knows!..even sometimes his ways were wrong and they back fired!..
Arman acted childishly most of the time, he got upset form Rids from the silliest things she had done or didn't do!..he always left her when he didn't know what to do!...i hated his foolish act of changing his personality as Suree from RBJ!. he took wrong choices and lied to her about silly things!..hence fell in trouble so many times! and caused her trouble too..he had anger outburst of rage and jealousy, he acted selfishly and hurt her deeply countless times!..
bottom line is he wasn't portrayed as a mature man!..he was a selfish play boy who came from a broken home..who fell truly in love for the first time!..he fell for a girl who is old fashioned!..a girl who belongs to the old school!..so how he behaved was pretty much understandable and justified!..and he tried to change for her sake..and he did become a better person in the process!
he left here many times before and they got separated from each other but he always found ways to patch up again!.. his love wasn't mature but I admit it was deep and very strong..he respected and cared for her and he was a loving character!...he had so many romantic ways to show it to her!...sometimes he went out of his ways and did so many huge things just to see her smile and make up with her!..
he was ready to sacrifice his life for her...and he cared allot for her happiness and in this I can recall him rescuing her so many times, his standing by her side in the car bomb incident, the fire work blast, and the shoot out and many more!
i think what happened post shoot out was so not Arman!..he lift Rids without asking about her once!..he left her again unconscious in panchgani..he goes to tour instead running back to her post his cure!..he couldn't pin point that something deep bothering her when he came back!..no one acts this way if they truly love someone one!
bottom line is Arman isn't as perfect as a lover as you guys claim him to be!..this is what was shown in DMG.. don't get me wrong but this is my point of view
