Is Shashank Wrong?

I was really surprised to see so many posts blaming shashank for the whole marriage n divorce fisaco..i wonder if these people really put themselves in a father's shoes n then think...Shanky is ridhhima's father - someone who s loved her unconditionally n never let her feel tht she s adopted n not his real daughter...he did not trust armaan but only for ridhhima's happiness, he agreed to their relationship...was it his fault tht the terrorist attack happened n AR's life took a new turn? Did he tell armaan to go away? if u see the episode where rids confronts shanky, its clear tht armaan saw his reports, shanky dint show it to him...armaan decided to go away, shanky dint ask him to...shanky asked armaan to think bout it n then decide if this is his final decision n armaan said yes..armaan dint want shanky to tell rids wat happened n tht's the only mistake shanky made - he dint tel rids the real reason y armaan went - but on armaan's request only!

Coming to the marriage - wat ppl fail to understand here is tht rids was behaving like a maniac n billy also told shanky tht if rids is not controlled she ll go mad looking for armaan...think wat a father wants - tht her daughter remains happy - for her happiness once,he agreed for the AR relationship n for her happiness he let her go to panchgani to find armaan..but if armaan again left her, how is it his fault? wen rids came back, she cried rape rape in front of everyone, the police came n arrested rids, then shanky came to knw bout the photos...imagine wat he must b goin thru...he was right in thinking tht noone is going to accept ridhhima like this..he was right in his outburst wen he said no matter how modern the indian society gets, the blame for something like this always goes to the girl n c'mon guys it is a fact - evn if we r slowly coming out of the stereotypical mindset, it s still prevalent at large n we might not identify wit it but our parents' generation does - dont they?
n the final nail in the coffin was wen someone questioned ridhhima's blood n pointed a finger to paddy! agreed tht someone was tht stella 😡 n the CVs really handled tht track badly - but the mes was tht ppl wud gossip n rids's rep had gone for a toss n such a situation a father becomes really helpless...so if he sees tht a guy as good as sid is ready to accept rids despite knowing everything..was he really wrong in getting rids married? n even then rids dint wanna get married..she wanted to die...but then sid made her realize how selfish she had bcome n she begs him to marry her..so i really dun think tht shanky is wrong...he s right in his place n any father wud ve done the same thing!

N now ppl are blaming him wen he s gonna intervene in the divorce! Its DIVORCE ppl...not a joke! no father wud want his daughter to get divorced within 3 months of a marriage...n the vital point tht ppl r forgetting here is - RIDS DOES NOT GO TO ARMAAN AFTER SIGNING THE PAPERS!!!! isnt tht a significant fact? if rids really truly loved armaan even now, wudnt she be jumping with joy at being set free n go back to armaan? but she s not gonna do tht..ever wondered y? coz she feels for sid n wants to be with him! the reason i presume she signs the papers is shes thinking tht sid doesnt want her in her life n the moment she comes to knw the real reason y sid sent the papers, i hope SR will b together..
and shanky is not wrong if he asks rids to give her marriage more time...its logical and any father wud do tht!

so stop blaming shanky for everything n SR fans, hope n pray tht SR unite 😊

have u even watched the show n did u see the way rids was behaving wen she found out about armaan? she had gone MAD like literally n armaan's father was the one who told shanky tht agar ridhhima ko iss sadme se bahar nahi nikala gaya toh hum usse bhi kho denge...was she in any state to take a proper decision? u wanted shanky to send her away n run away from her problems? dun think thts d way shanky has brought her up..n running away wud only confirm all the mindless gossip tht was floating around rids...and how is it shanky's fault if armaan went away a 2nd time around? dint he let ridhhima go n look for armaan? rids tried everything to find armaan n in tht process she lost herself...n u think she was in the right frame to take a decision..still she dint wanna get married remember? n took the poison! n then rids begs sid to marry her...
as for my father..if he sees tht his daughter has completely lost her mind then thr will b a time wen he wil step in n take a decision for me n 9 out of 10 times tht wud b the right decision..coz he s my father n wud only want me to be happy!

I dont understand the Double Standards here!

If armaan takes a decision on behalf of ridhhima and leaves her alone its right coz it was his love n he wanted her to be happy!

n If her FATHER takes a decision for her for the very same reasons - its WRONG!!!

If armaan dint bother to ask ridhhima wat SHE wanted - its alright
If Shanky doesnt ask ridhhima wat SHE wants - its wrong! (n i dun think shanky wil take a decision bout the divorce without asking rids..he will definitely ask her if SHE wants to give her marriage sometime)

just ignore people they always want to blame others . Shashank has every ryt to do this because its his daugther and nows whats best for her. How cn a father watch by knowing that his daugther cn be happy in this marriage. If shashank didnt step in i would have seen it as though he doesnt care abwt his daugther

any who, yes i do agree at some extent, that shashank might be right to take a decison, since it is his daughter. However i just hope that he at least talks to ridhima about this, and maybe this time ridhima can think it through her heart. I just want to see this whole thing resolved, i don't mind who goes with whom, but this all golmal this might get really annoying in a few months, if the creative doesn't get the story moving.

lol..i hope so too...n am sure he will ask rids wat she feels b4 taking a decision! tht wud make sense n let the story move forward...
