There is a reason why I used the above statement of babuji using his brains....

1. Babuji is well aware of both ammas and Radhikas nature.
2. He is also aware about ammas idea regarding the RP puja.
3. He knows the sense of obligation that has been drilled in Radhika since childhood.
4. Heknows that Devki and amma kept quiet when Radhika was being kicked out off PB due to Purab and that both kept quiet to save Vishaka.
5. He also knows that bothDevki and amma have used Radhika to shield Vishaka since childhood.
6. He knows that amma was against this second marriage from the beginning.
7. He also knows that there is only one marriage in Devs Kundli.

Will he remember-
1. What Devki told him regarding her friend changing brides?
2. Will he remember Radhikas stubborness in not getting married and connect the dots.
3. Will he remember Devki pushing for this "second marriage" and conect the dots?
4. Will he and Dev have the presence of mind to engineer situations that will make either Devki or amma blurt out the truth to protect themselves and inturn blame Vishaka (both are capable of it).

All the hints are there in front of babuji, and now my main question is WILL THE CREATIVES GIVE US SOME GOOD EPISODES WHERE PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY USING THEIR BRAINS LOGICALLY INSTEAD OF CRAP SCENARIOS?

I did not talk about the photograph because it is sure to come up, but mainly emphasised on the hints that are there. Atleast today the creatives had the presence of mind to show Vaishali and Vivek standing up for Radhika and explaining her actions in front of dadima.........whereas last year they were forcing Dev and Radhika forget about their pain.....today they understood their pain.

Great points Misti ... I think babuji will believe her but he may also be the first person to turn against her since she kept the truth hidden for so long

Very good post Misti... Getting Amma to tell the truth is not a good idea, but shastri ji believes in people... he would trust Amma talking at the same time it would be hard for him to even think that Rad is lieing...
He knows Radhika... it would be his test to trust his mom or trust his adopted girl and accept shame... Easy way out would be to trust Amma, specially Rad's truth can bring shame for both families... Knowing Shastriji's character... he would pass this test.... like Dev, he would trust Rad...

You're right Misti, and the writers at least had Radhika remind Dev about their private conversation on the terrace on the wedding day. Too bad they spoiled a potentially beautiful scene with that witch Vishaka barging in and saying she told Radhika everything that was said on the terrace!
I like the character of Shastriji and I hope he isn't dumbed down further to accomodate the two witches! Dev and Shastriji really should be shown working together to acquire clues and get to the bottom of things. All of those scenes which presented some sort of clues or doubt should be shown in flashback as Dev and Shastriji are recalling old conversations and the light bulbs are slowly turning on in their brains!

You're right Misti. I just wish that the CVs give us some great logical episodes!!!

I hope that the CVs don't dumb down Shastriji's character and don't make him ignore all the hints that he has got.
The only thing that worries me is Shastriji's statement that he would also not support Rdah if she was to commit any adharm and now I am worried that this statement might backfire on Radh!!!

Well after lot of deliberation I am answering this.........and you know why 😈.
Babuji will be angry with her but he should also remember that during the RP puja he was also a part of a "adharm".........now he might believe that Radhika is the first wife but then he knew that Vishaka was married to Dev and on the insistance of amma both he and Dev accepted Radhika sitting for the puja..........both knew that was adharam and shastriji felt guilty ........so both for societys sake kept quiet.........if Shastriji forgets then Dev should remind him of that....also he is far older than Radhika and much more experienced...........if he could do that then he cannot expect Radhika, a 20 year old girl to be perfect................also shastriji has been part of a very big adharam........being a a priest he knows what the main teaching of Gita is "that it is worse to stand quiety when injustice is being done than to do the act itself".........Shastriji kept quiet when Radhika was being abused by amma..........he also kept quiet when Vishaka was spoilt by amma..........they were innocent kids and he should have told amma to back off but out of respect for his mother he kept quiet..........that is against the teaching of Gita........where it is said that it does not matter if a person is a related to you or is elder to you, one has to stand up against injustice.

I am not saying Radhika is right.............both chose to ignore truth due to circumstances, so that should be taken into account before judging Radhika.

I do agree with you on all of the above, Misti ... 😊

I dont think Shastri has a right to be annoyed or angry at Rads. And they could show him going either way ... either he understands all of the things she has gone through and sympathizes with her and apologizes since his mother was the one who prevented her from going away as a bride. Or he gets angry at her initially but realizes that he is not justified in feeling that way

IMO, the only person who has a right, not to feel angry but to feel betrayed is Dev ... have to see how he reacts over the next few weeks.

Btw ... I am very sympathetic to Rads and why she hid the truth ... however, I wish they had brought out more of what actually happened, the torture she went through at the hands of amma and how much it bothered her to have to tell him to go to Vish ...

Thank you cbfan123. Most probably Shastriji will accept that Radhika is saying the truth but that is not enough, he has to finally do something about giving justice to Radhika for the years of abuse that she has suffered at the hands of amma, Devki and Vishaka............I will be happy if he publicly apologises to Radhika..........that will increase my respect for him even more. Shastriji is simple but that does not mean that he is stupid or has blind faith in amma.......he is aware of her faults.......infact he was the first person who worked out what had really happened during the mehendi fiasco,so it should not take him time to work out here too. He knows that amma and Vishaka will stoop to any extent for their needs
