What made you select Jaane Pehchaane Se…Ye Ajnabbi for a return to fiction?
Well, first of all, it felt great to be back on a good fiction show, which has such a youthful vibe. Star One focuses on shows for the youth and I definitely wanted to be part of such a show. Also, the character I'm essaying, that of Radhika Singhania, is very intriguing. She's smart, beautiful and headstrong.

What were you doing during your break from fiction?
Truthfully, I was waiting for something interesting to come along. The recession made sure that good offers were few and far between and so I took the opportunity to explore some new avenues. For instance, I did a couple of commercials for Nirma and Ponds. That was a refreshing experience and a good change.

What else are you busy with apart from Ajnabbi?

I'm also on Zara Nach Ke Dikha. In fact, after I wrap up my shoot for Ajnabbi, I head for Zara Nach Ke Dikha's rehearsals. It's very grueling—you could say I have a lot on my plate right now. But I'm not complaining, it's good to be busy like this.

You were also on Nach Baliye. What attracts you to dance reality shows?
There are a lot of exciting dance reality shows on TV and I really enjoy watching them as well, so it makes sense to take part in them. And anyway, I also enjoy dancing a lot. Whenever I'm free in between shots, you'll find me dancing and singing.

So you're combining both fun and work on this show.
At the moment, the rehearsals feel more like work than fun. They're very exhausting and it's a competition. So, one has to put in one's best. But that said, yes, I do appreciate the fact that I'm part of such an amazing team and it'll definitely be exciting to see the boys and girls battle it out on the dance floor.

Aamir Ali is on the boys' team. Are the two of you very competitive off the sets?
Of course, we're competing against each other. So, we'll each put in our best. But we're not children—we won't fight about this purely professional assignment. However, we're always giving each other constructive criticism and advice. It feels good to have some support like that—everyone else always writes and talks rubbish about one, but there's always an honest support system at home.

ps-- guys really in bad mood.. my PS is not working 😔... whole night i had to collect old stuff. i've re-installed again but my old brushes,fonts are gone! back to square one (back to 2008) the banner is ready though it'll be slightly smaller than before. the other stuff i'll prepare soon.

Sorry guys! I wasn't home yesterday! So RS started nautanki again! Nothing new! She is so boring with her accusations, demeaning others, cheap digs, false resolutions and contradictory statements! It puts me to sleep 🥱

Thank for the interview, Swetha! I really hope she takes little rest in little breaks between the 2 shoots! She goes to JPSYA shoots then straight to the rehearsals! Must be really gruelling! I hope she takes care of herself. The weather is so toughening on everyone plus doing so many work can be really hard. I feel tired even while sitting at home in this weather! Lol!

Too much Happening today.not in a good mood either...uuff.anyways..i found Aamir's article on ZND..which i found very sweet..so posting here..

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh, who have won Nach Baliye 3 are now facing each other in opposition teams in the Battle of Sexes Zara Nach Ke Dikha and it doesn't really matter to Aamir as it is just a show.

Talking about the show ZND, Aamir Ali says, "The concept is good, the production company is the same, the channel is wonderful and during the last season my mom used to watch this show and even I had followed a couple of episodes. I am really looking forward for Sanjeeda to perform and we are performing opposite each other in the show," adds Aamir Ali.

Aamir believes that if you are a celebrity and your love interest is in the same field then rumours are a must, we are still a couple in the show and out of the show and all our split stories were fake. Now I have realized that if you are an actor then such things and such rumors are bound to happen and now during this fake news, Sanjeeda and I actually had good laugh about the same with our family ," adds Aamir Ali.

So when we asked him if he has started bonding with anyone there he said, " I only concentrate on my dance there. Everyone is very sweet, Abhishek is a good dancer so are the other boys too and even girls are very good."

But he never minds whoever wins the show, " Sanjeeda is a good dancer and it doesn't bother me if she wins. I actually want her to win because she is a great dancer, so winning and loosing doesn't matter at all. But it's just a competition and I am happy to be a part of it," says Aamir Ali.

Tanu, no news of ZND promotional video yet! The final version is not shown! Is it like the title video, which will come only during the starting of the episodes?! I hope not, then we'll have to watch it on 1st May! :-(
