How do they explain Nakusha....?

Seriously this has been bugging me for a while, I simply don't get it 😕

Forgetting for a moment that Nakusha is actually very pretty...

How do Babi and her husband (damn I just forgot his name 😆) explain Nakusha's "ugliness"?

I mean look at Sethji, his skin colour is fine, he's not ugly either, his skin colour's closer to the skin colour of Babi, so what about Nakusha?

She has to wear that really dark make-up all the time to look ugly, how can anyone explain that? Because biologically thats not possible as you tend to have the complexion of one of your parents and I doubt they could justify it with inheriting it from the father because even then Nakusha's skin would be lighter than her father's? It's obvious that people should actually click on that Daal mein kuch Kala hai ( OMG I don't literally mean Ugly-Nakusha by it 😆)

No seriously how can GANPAT(oh now I remebered his name 😆) + BABI = UGLY DUCKLING NAKUSHA?

Anyone have any ideas? I know my topic isn't making sense much and seems very stupid and it might be just me thinking too much 😳 but I just can't get over it 😆

Gosh I just looked and noticed that I became an IF-Dazzler! 😆 Yay me 😆

LOL! Isn't that the million dollar question! Maybe everyone just assumes that Nakku is how she is for a reason - like you know maybe she isn't REALLY related to them. I mean stuff like that happens doesn't it where you get attached to someone not related to you and they tag along. Or I don't know, maybe they just think Ganpat had one of his drunken-escapades and Nakku was a result of it. Oh who knows! Now I'm going to be thinking about this for weeks! Lol! 😆

at least the black paint/soot/whatever is more even now than the initial days... thank God for that.. 😆😆😆
in fact nowadays with her hair tied nicely and with the even black makeup Naku looks pretty too (inspite of the joined eyebrow)

@Yeti: Okay, I totally agree. I am so glad that they've evened out her "color" because before it just used to look blotchy and untidy. But now with the even color and the tied up hair she actually looks "likable". I barely notice the uni brow anymore - and that says a lot since they've practically COLORED the brows together!

And I couldn't help it! 🤣 Imagine Ganpat trying to seduce a woman? Or a woman trying to seduce Ganpat?!! And Baabi totally "dhulao-fying" them both with a belan or a jharu (whatever comes handy)! OMG! I need to get off my meds before I reply to such crazy posts! 🤣

I agree...she looks nice now with the even darkness though she is actually more black now than before. Looks tidy with the tied up hair. is there still stuff on her teeth. Once thats off its no big deal if Dutta falls for her as she is simply dark and not dirty.
Abt Naku's darkness Ganpat is pretty dark...so Naku might have got his color. Also I read somewhere that even the grandparents genes might carry on to the child...or even genes from several generations before. So no big deal if Naku is dark. Though leela questioned Babi abt Naku's darkness.
On a side note even Babi looks nice now. More like a middle class woman than a servant. Naku's dresses are also normal...what a middle class girl wud wear at home. Plus she also had that dress she wore in the moonlit night scene. That must be new since they escaped from their Mumbai home without any belongings. Looks like Dutta pays them well. 😆

this reminds me... I so want Naku to wear that light blue-dark blue dupatta that Dutta bought for her when she was staring at it at the shop... **dreams of that epi again** 😍
and Dutta catches her in it... 😉😉 **sigh** 😍
