Geeta ma totally rocked in the limelight episode this past week. She came off as a fair and caring judge. I don't understand the bashing by non-geeta fans. When she was asked who she wanted in the final four she said all 3 of her contestants and it didn't matter who the 4th one was...ummm what's wrong with her answer? Did Terrence also not pick both of his contestants to be in the finale and did Remo not pick his contestant to be in the finale as well? So why is Geeta ma unfair in picking all of her contestants to be in the finale? I also loved when asked who according to her was the weakest contestant, she answered Amar. I mean naturally in a competition where there can only be 1 winner, there are going to be competitors who are weaker then the winner and in Geeta ma's opinion that weaker contestant out of the remaining one happens to be Amar. I don't understand why she should be bashed for having an opinion and answering a question? As a master if she thinks he is weaker then the other, that's her right to say that when asked directly. As for Remo's comment about Dharmesh Sir being most popular, of course Dharmesh sir is the most popular. Why wouldn't he be? Most people think he is the best dancer and hence they vote for him more then others hence making him the most popular.....As for emotional atyachar bit, i agree with Remo......Amar with his illness as a baby story, Shakti with her leg injury and operation story, Dharmesh sir with his financial hardship story, etc. is becoming too much........But being that all of them have done it, it's not really an advantage or disadvantage to any one particular contestant......I feel that Geeta Ma rocked in the limelight episode and I hope that all 3 of her contestants do make it in to the finale.....Last year when Remo and Terrence had more contestans left at this stage, they both answered the exact same way when asked who belonged in the finale. They both picked all their remaining contestants to be in the finale, so now why is it unfair for Geeta ma to do the same? Waise Doodh ka Doodh or Paani ka Paani to Public hi karegi with their votes in the coming weeks and in the finale.......😃

Yes I agree... Geeta rocked it. I feel that her honest comment about whom she wants in the finale didn't go down well with the fans of other contestants , and so the angry reactions. But no matter what I love her frankness be it while giving judgement or while giving opinions.

If I was a mentor I would obviously feel that all my contestants should be there in the finale, and so Geeta felt the same and the other 2 mentors. The other 2 also mentioned the names of their contestants but since they were having less contestants they had to take names of other contestants as well. According to me , I feel even they don't care if other team's contestants are there in the finale or not, they just want their own team contestants and its natural. So I feel Geeta is right on her part ! 👍🏼

PS. Just a suggestion. Make paragraphs while writing , its difficult to read long posts without paragraphs !! 😳 😆😆😆😆

Hey Ankit! First when I saw posts about it because I didn't watch the limelight, even I thought Geeta was being unfair. But, now that you put it this way, I agree. Why shouldn't she? If Saajan was left, Remo would definitely say both of his contestants! She was right and she said I don't care who's the fourth one because everyone on this stage is good. No one is "bad".

Good way of putting it! Thanks for making me clear the confusion in my mind! :)

Hmm good point. I never looked at it that closely, but it does make sense.

As we all have our own opinions, masters are allowed to have theirs as well.

I been saying it and will say it again, I feel all the masters are biased and I don't blame them because they work hard and it is human nature (as much as you try to avoid it) to support your own contestants no matter what.

I hope next year, they change the judges for the show. Geeta, Remo and Terrance can still be the masters behind the choreography, but we should have 3 different judges who would hold no bias.

I partly agree with you Ishan. After naming the three contestants of her team... she could have taken the name of any other contestants from any other team for the fourth finalist slot. I thought it was a rude comment... may be she don't think anyone good enough to be a competition for her children. 😕

And one more thing, the fans of other teams are not only upset with her bcoz of this remark. She told that Amar is the weakest link in competition becoz 'woh hohi karta hain jo use kaha jata hain'... I mean what is this? 😲 this simply proves that she is so very partial. more over everytime when other judges remarks on her contestants performance... she says... "aapki koi galti nahin hain... aap ko jo kaha gaya hain aapne wohi kiya hain'.... this is heights of double standard!! 😡

Even openly Terence & Remo always said that Amrita is a mindblowing dancer & the best in GKG. But I think no one can remember about she praising some other contestants 'genuinely'. All she says are the oneliners.... that she uses for the contestants of other teams. Geeta is simply ruining the spirit of the competition. Competition is OK.... but not in the cost of such rude & biased comments!

Its not what she said but HOW she said. Agreed! she wants her children in the finale..but she had no reason to say "she did not care who the fourth will be". Since everyone calls her "Ma", she is expected to show some empathy. All the other three contestants are also working hard and are not useless that none of them deserve a spot in the finale. I mean seriously??she thinks Binny is better than everyone else there??
Next, we have a problem with her saying Amar did not have a class. That is rude!! and a terrible thing to say!
She is the one who says "Aapse jo kaha gaya tha, woh aapne kiya> You did a terrific job. I am proud of You"and then she says the same to Amar that he does what he is asked to do??😲 That is hypocrisy at its best 👎🏼
By saying such comments and having no style in presenting her thoughts, she comes across as a vile and a vindictive woman. Period.

Wowww.. I totally agree with what Sashh and SAS said.. I just have nothing to say..
She really has to be IN the competition... I would like to add up one more point - She thinks that Shakti is YET to show her versatility..
Now, who would EVER say that 'bout Shakti..??!
As I've been sayin from the start - Geetu thinks we are blind and that we nod to whatever she says..
Arre, it's clear and straight enough that Shakti's been mind-blowing, has been proving her versatility ever since.. and after the Popping and Wacking, I'm seriously surprised to hear this !

Geeta has an obligation to say all of Terrence's contestants are awesome?? since when? If she doesn't think they are awesome, why should she say it? Did terrence and Remo say anything nice about Binny? exactly...so why should Geeta go out of her way to say something she doesn't believe....she believes her 3 are the best in the show.....just like Terrence said that according to him Shakti was the best....😊

Geeta is the last person on the show who should be commenting on someone's versatility 👎🏼
