The tortuous twists and turns of a dramatic route

Our Sunshine writing team remains addled about what makes good drama. We get pummeled left, right, and center with one painful twist upon another ... I can imagine what nitrogen bends must feel like (when deep-sea divers ascend to the surface).

Anita seeks an alliance with Nakul ... right off the bat ... and will make a pact with any devil when it suits her purpose ...

Bhalla already has his talons deep into the Sethi/Taneja flesh ... he's lost no time withdrawing money from the bank ... the bank manager shows up at the Pink Palace threatening foreclosure and auction ... last we saw was Anuj dressed in Kurta/Pajama handing the original deed to Bhalla ... that very day Bhalla sneaks into 12/24 and attempts murder ... a little while later, both he and Anuj are hauled off to jail ... so, when did Bhalla have time to falsify papers, withdraw money and the rest?!! Oh ... wait ... forgot ... the bank manager is an accomplice ... y'right! Anyone else buying this? 😕

Neetu's back at Dagar Mansion II ... her mum's groveling bore fruit ... she even has a new set of clothes (a brighter version of what Daadi Amma dons) ... so does Daadi Amma!!! And it's not white!!! But Neetu has the exact same jewelry ... the 'pearl' necklace was twisted even more today (did you notice?) ... but didn't I tell you that Omi will have been let out for air and he'd rescue them?! Amazing where his 'street smarts' lie ... he knows that pregnancy increases the desire for the sour (does it gals?!) ... and that you can mortgage your assets when in dire straits ... and money is necessary for life ... but does not know to read the fine print before signing home and hearth away ... which reminds me ... you think that Nakul Bhaiya has been able to get the Dhaba out of the Jat's clutches?! 😕

Now we're in for such a treat with Nakul and Bhalla vying for the position of villain ne plus ultra ... Bhalla seriously thinks he has the same resources as Nakul?!! That fella is deluded beyond belief ... but ... I was so beside myself with joy when 'Kalavati Bhalla' showed up at the jail sorely missing her Gollu (I imagine she knows that territory like the back of her hand, given that her Gollu is a near permanent fixture there) ... and she has such self-esteem - to come marching in dressed to kill! She even delighted me with a showing of her 'goo-goo' eyes!!!

Now that summer is setting in, our very own Abhi is seen in a full-sleeve shirt! There was so much promise with the choodi vendor scene (the scene at the jail was hopelessly garbled) ... loved the fact that he was willing to take whatever was available to him because our choc. truffle was buying it for his choc. mousse-ess ... although I do wonder about Abhi exhausting his last Rs. 40 for a set of glass bangles in a color that not only did not match what his sweetheart had on, but they were rather conveniently forgotten somewhere on the way back to the Pink Palace (I kept looking at the 2 of them as they walked in to see if she either had them on her arm, or one of the two of them was carrying a package ... none of the above ... slipshod work Sunshiners! 😔) ... but I suppose that a peripatetic lifestyle is a good thing to adopt ... after all they had no money left for bus/taxi/scooter fare, so their legs were a blessing ... and after all the goings-on Simi is late for college?!! She better get on the ball before she too gets the boot and we then have only the unemployed on hand - and Poppa S. still laid up ... I doubt very much that paralysis can be that easily overcome without massive amounts of physical therapy ... and Simi/Abhi's urgings yesterday to get Poppa S. to move his hand were simply too idiotic for words

Why does Simi think Momma S. is going to forgive Anuj so readily? She's the same intransigent person she was with Simi! 😕

I know I can sing '12 butta 24, Karoool Baagh, Aaa jaaayieee' much better than Bhalla! 😊
