Well guys I am not that sure but i read an article that YRF is gonna replace all its existing shows with new ones in July......So most probably Rishta.com may also end in july..................and please, i am just conveing whatever i have read..I really dont know whether its true or not........read the article so thought of sharing it with all of you........bad,very bad indeed..... 😭

yes it true YRF shows are ending in june -july ish has they were only planned for that long and epiosdes up that time have been shot. then there will be a break for while and then they will bring in season 2 of the YRF shows so the show will be replaced has season 1 of the show is coming to an end.

This is nothing new. It was planned even before the show started. YRF shows doesn't depend of TRPs. As for Rishta.com, there are total 26 episodes. So, according to that Rishta.com will be ending by end of june/star of july.

oh good! may this show stay on for as long as possible.....it's the only show worth watching (Mahi's Way isn't bad).

Hey, I hope there;s a DVD release!!!!!!! I would totally buy a DVD set...

Petition's hardly work Anu. 😔 And Shruti herself tweeted saying a second season is very unlikely.😭 I am not losing hope though. And I swear, when Rishta will get over I'll feel a part of my life is missing. It may sound filmy, but it's a fact to me. 😳

Oh wow....so Shruti's pretty much confirmed there won't be a second season at all??.....*sigh* There goes one of the rare breaths of fresh air on Indian TV.....every good thing dies prematurely in desi TV land

Right! All those crappy saas bahu dramas can go on for life-long without any story, without any meaning and most importantly without any SENSE. Oh well, I guess most of the Indian audience are senseless. 😛 I am sorry to say that. But it's a fact.

Riya, I think Sony's the coward here....firstly this kind of a show has a different kind of audience...why don't they target THAT audience properly??? Are they expecting saas-bahu show like TRPs for this?? That's just foolishness...the housewives always have and will continue to be the deciding factor for those kind of shows.....but Rishta.com and the other YRF shows are a whole another genre that DESERVES it's seperate breathing space....which it SO isn't being given! What will Sony do after July?? Just add 2-3 more random soaps to it's schedule which it will AGAIN randomly pull off air in 5-6 months?? LOLL *rolls eyes*

Sony has horrible promotional issues, needless to say that. And I completely agree with you that YRF shows have a different type of audience. I was just discussing this with my friend today. Moreover, I think Rishta.com audience are even more different. I watch only Rishta and Mahi Way from the YRF shows. Whenever I watch an epi of Mahi Way, I am entertained thoroughly but it never makes me thing later on. Whereas Rishta.com gives me space to think and analyse. Whatever I see on screen in Rishta is pretty much the happenings in our real life as well.I get to see the minature moments which makes a great impact on our daily life through Rishta. Rishta.com truly defines relationships for me. Rishta.com is just not an entertainer for me, it's something which makes me realise what I do in my daily life. I don't know if it's the case with everyone but I surely relate with RC. 😊
