In earlier threads also, it is detailed when a couple is treated as being married. So its upto them in which way they actually feel if they are married. Simi is wearing those bangles also which is important in north indian culture. So according to her she is married. She has the sindoor also.
Not just in "hep societies", couples start living together without marriage rituals even when they cant afford elaborate weddings. Exchange of garlands and marriage registration happens for a meagre Rs.101/- in Tamilnadu and Kerala. People in love wanting to get married and who do not have parental support opt for this too. In most such offices, the sub-registrar office clerk needs to be given Rs.50/- and some sweets to be distributed at his home. Thats it.
If Simi claims Abhi is her husband, then there is nothing we could think otherwise

Agreed....Even the Indian law now states two people living together are to be considered marrid with all priveleges of a married couple......like responsible for each other etc....

Yeah- Exchange of garlands and marriage registration happens for a meagre Rs.101/- in Tamilnadu and Kerala. and That's a PROPER WAY of Getting married...... though in a Simple way because U need Witness in Registry wedding.. But Putting Blood in Dulhan's Maang and taking Pheras{Privately} without Any Proper Witness {Simmi Abhi did not get Wed having a Witness n Registrar }is the way Delhi-People Get married???????Is this Shakuntala-Dushmanta getting married in the forest Or what😆?? Almost everyone registers their marriage in Cities Nowadays n in Villages they have a 'Proper Hindu Wedding' Though I've heard most ppl in Suburbs also get their Marriage registered ..maybe later..but they do!
I didn't know that people in ANY Metro City in India get married this way🤣

these days marriages shown in tv / fims is a farce....be it PR, YMGGK or for that matter even KB...now if ABhi and Simi feel they are as good as married who are we to taang hadaoo...jab miya biwi raazi tho kya karega qazi...and maang mein blood .......LOL.....i must be seeing it for the nth time on tv....now to get their marriage registered is a good idea but when simi and abhi have to depend on others for their basic necessities am sure registering their marriage will be the last thing on their mind.....now coming back to the FD cheque...am sure its validity must have expired if there is any such thing 😳

Well i have shared that information. The emoticon suggests it ROFL after learning the information. But sadly some underpriveleged have no other choice than getting married this way.

They din show AA registering their marriage. Same will be the case with Simbhi also.

Now the argument will be AA had proper ritualistic wedding.

And the answer for it is...yes AA had proper wedding and unfortunately there is no one to perform Simbhi's wedding the same way

About ROFL.... It's about getting married by putting blood in the Dulhan's Maang...Not for the South indian news..... because in the incident the Couple Actually GOt married in the Marriage registry Office BUt Abhi-Simmi Neither got married by proper Pheras,Mantras,Agni-Saakshi(which is a Must For hindu wedding😲) Nor the Legal Way😕
But sadly some underpriveleged have no other choice than getting married this way
And if they Wished..They Could go to ANY Mandir...If Abhi can take Money from Omi ..Omi could've been a Witness to their Hindu-wedding too at Abhi's request ....In Any Mandi the Purohit could perform the necessary rights to 'Complete' their Incomplete Wedding and I guess They could've eit ther Requested the Purohit if he could wait for his Dakshinaa till Abhi gets a Job or they could have paid the Purohit with the Money that Simmi had got after selling her Mobile{ that Burnol ointment did not Cost as much money as Simmi had got after selling her mobile😵?} OR Simmi has Some savings in her Bank I guess😲 ?????????
Who's saying that they shoud've given a Biiig party in A Biiiiig Hotel..?? But they should've got married properly! Yeah..I'd forgotten that because they're Hero-Heroine Anything they've done or they do are right😆

Maybe AA can use the FD money for bail once they are put in jail! Because now that the superpowers (S.A.M) are there, AA will surely be caught!

Well it looks like this thread took a whole other turn of affairs into an interesting discussion on whether Simi and Abhi are really married. There are some members who vehmently disagree that what took place was a marriage. Bee wrote an excellent post on it. While there some members (names with held) insist that a marriage has taken place because Abhi put blood in the parting of Simi's hair.
Since I am not well versed in the knowledge of Indian/Hindu marriage rituals, I feel that this topic will never have an answer unless I consult with an expert in the field. However, I might find that there are various interpretations of the text.
I don't believe that registering a marriage is what makes a marriage, but I do believe that a marriage should be performed properly in order to make it legitmate otherwise anyone can just claim a connection with someone. When people live to together in the US, that makes the marriage a common-law marriage and not one that is defined as the same as an marriage itself.
How I see it, if you marry someone in a formal way, then when it comes to divorce, you have to do that in a formal way. You don't just say, "Well, guess what, I am tired of living with you. Bye bye."
