I wish he would smile more. As much as I love his angry stare, I want him to laugh a little. Sometimes when he's doing a scene with Naku, I can see Mishal trying to keep a straight face while listening to her bak bak 😆 I like it when he does that.

I am beginning to wonder if you are in fact right. And if you are I'll have to go back and see if that changes anything about what I saw and how much. So that's why I'm waiting till tomorrow when I have time and am not sleep! But I agree - it threw me off a bit after he looked as Supriya today when he was taking about "forgiving' the associate. I know he is getting ready to forgive her - but for what? For lying to him about liking him? Or for being rude to him? That's when I began to question whether he knows or not. But when I did the TIN I still assumed that he knew, because I haven't had the chance to go back and re-watch the "breaking-lamp" scene and the rest after that to know for sure if he knows. 🤔

I agree - it was definitely refreshing to come across a daily soap that made sense! That didn't have random deaths and marraiges, filthy rich people who are tackling a family "mystery" at every corner and "genuinely nice" protagonists who have more villians than can be counted on one hand. I like how this serial makes sense to me - which is why I write about it so much. 😆

I agree with nsb...earlier LTL didnt make sense to me. But I suppose after the first time Naku questions her mother and wants to reveal her face to her love my respect for the show increased. Here was a protagonist with normal desires. She loves a guy and wants him to love her back. But there was her over protective mother who wouldnt let her go after her dreams...Babi's justifications made sense. Also I think the Datta's flashback episodes helped me made sense of what makes Datta tick. Now I need to understand why Datta has been ignoring the attacks on himself, his immediate family and his fiancee and also if the mawali is really pea brained or too cunning.

Yeah he does that with Baji too. Actually the curve of Mishal's lips is such that you get an impression of a slight smile on his face unless he's making an effort to look serious/stern.

And I agree. I love how we each provide a different perspective to the show. I am SURE this is better than many Ekta shows - in those shows I could honestly predict the story line. The first 5 months while they focus on the love story are grand and then everything goes haywire with multiple marraiges and "back-from-dead" tracks.

@nsb416: SEE! I feel so too. I can sometimes feel that he is smiling, but I can't figure out why. Because it isn't a FULL smile but there's a trace of a smile trying to show it self. I wish we could see the masti both Mishal and Mahi do while on sets for a scene. That would totally change how we look at that scene. 😆

@ Shreya: YES! This has also been bugging me. WHY hasn't he taken serious action against these instances where Supriya's life is in danger? He doesn't seem to be a man to let things go easily. But he is not showing a lot of concern for this right now.

About the Mavali, I think he really is pea-brained because otherwise he would realize that he can just run away with Sup NOW instead of whenever he's planning to. He's her damn bodyguard, he can take her anywhere. He seems to have forgotten that he has Dutta's trust and he can take advantage of that. Anyway, we shall wait and see where the story takes us.

Fivr I think rewatching wont help. Thats because I think the CVs have left kept their options open. Thats why when Datta is around Sups or talking abt Sups to someone he has this unreadable expression his face. So that later it can be interpreted either way without MR being accused of bad acting.
They did the same with the precap of Datta sees Naku's real face epi. When Naku first crashes into his car it seemed that Datta had recognized her and was angry with Naku's lie. That is till he came out and spoke.
Btw even if Datta is Kala's bhola bhau I still feel his anger and pain of betrayal will be marvelous when the truth comes out...whether its Supriya's truth or his sisters truth. So we are in for some fabulous acting chops to be displayed.

I think Dutta knows who attacked his family i.e. his sisters which is why he's so relaxed. Had it been someone else, he'd have spent all his energy into figuring out who attacked his home and family. But he knows it's the sisters, so letting it slide is probably part of a bigger plan. Or so I think..

Or maybe he IS looking for someone related to it but because of the wedding that hasn't been given screen space. I mean he's still been doing business hasn't he? So what's to stop us from believing that looking for who attacked his family is part of his job too. I mean what's to say that these attacks aren't "occupational hazards" for Dutta - that that's how the creatives wanted us to show Dutta handling these. They wanted to show that he was angry by them but he's a don and such attacks happen. What if these were sort of to give an insight into Dutta's life and how he tackles danger at every step? I wonder about this too.

And as for the mavali - I REFUSE to believe that anyone who wears shirts that tight and uses women as bait is "cunning". He is a douche and I hope the creatives don't try to pass him off as anything other than that! *hmph*

Mishal sure is liberal with his smiles. I can imagine how tough it is for him to play such a character who is such a contrast to his real self. As for Datta he can be pleasant too when he meets people under normal circumstances....remember his slight smile to Naku when he offered to help her with the hand pump...or the slight smiles for Sups when she first came to the house.
