Relating to Mahi-Shiv

I know there are people who can relate to Mahi physically and some to just mentally.

I see Mahi and Shiv's relationship in a really personal manner. My boyfriend is my mom's best friend's son who i met after 10-12 years (because i moved around in India and then i moved to canada). We met again when I went to India in summer of 08 😊 and he became one of my closest friends - all in just 2 weeks. In two weeks, he knew everything about me. All the masti, the things i did, my friends, he even knew about my viewpoints on dating. And now that we are in a relationship its absolutely amazing! Know how you think how you want your bf/husband to be, hes completes the list AND makes it better!😳😳 ❤️😍

Anyways - getting to the point 😛 i believe friends can be amazing lovers just because they started off understanding one another.
And I can totally relate to Shiv and Mahi.

Is their name Mashiv? Mahiv?

And I do agree. Your best friend can be your soul mate and as SRK said in KKHH "Pyar Dosti hai!"

If he can't be your best friend, if he can't listen to all your problems, if you can't be comfortable to share your secrets, if he can't accept you the way you are, then how can he be your soul mate? How can you love him? Best friends can be amazing lovers because they accept each other just the way they are. Just like Shiv accepts Mahi just the way she is.

I would like to start off by saying that i'm really happy for you that you have found your soulmate in you boyfriend... That being said i want to also say that no matter how deep of a connection someone feels to their boyfriend, after marriage everything changes, the rules of marriage are not and i repeat not the same as when you are dating. Marriage is a completely different beast a game with no rules and all the expectations😆 so to those who choose to jump into the abyss and take that journey from friendship to marriage, have fun, and know that no matter what you felt before the dynamics of marriage is not about the two of you, it will be so much more...and only then can you really know your soulmate....so good luck to you all. and especially shiv and mahiiiii.....cuase man there is alot of extra baggage this girl is coming with.....no pun intended...

LOL I completely agree!! HAHA, and marriage to dor ki baat hai, just from a year back its different. On top of that we have environmental differences, I have spent most of my life in canada, and hes been in india. He is understanding though, but lol takes *soo* much effort from me! 😆
After marriage, you have to look after his relatives as well and him! Right now its just him 😛
Have to get rid of accent first though, otherwise his relatives will just be all and 😆 around me.

I really think Shiv will be excellent husband! But lets not get ahead of ourselves 😛 Lets let them realize first!!

Yeaaa, I always wanted a boy best-friend, who'd always have my back during tough situations, listen to my rants all day and all night long, deal with and still love my annoying & negative side.

GuyBFFs are fantastic! All for the reasons you said, AND they give u actual guy advise. My bff is guy, although more than half the time his advice to me about my boyfriend is 'just talk to him'. that helps! :P 😆 But the only bad thing about GuyBFF - they can be insensitive at times. They are sweet, and caring and hilarious, but sometimes its just, 😡 'can you please think before saying something'
having said all of this, i am wondering if you were talking about a BF whos been your best friend :P
about being approved by parents, my parents think my boyfriend is a goof. they dont know him as my bf, just a family friend's son, but they do agree that he is "special to me" [their words 😃 ]

awww thats so friggin cute girlie :D but yea marriage is diff its completely different. expect anything but ordinary.
